I'd like plans. Of course, I'm thinking of a couple minor alterations, and perhaps making it just a bit larger, more of a portable cabin with some foam insulation in it. :)
Interesting. What is weight? Thinking of using in a different way. But it would suit purposes well. Will it fit in pickup truck bed? Thanks for sharing
I,am thinking they used a full sheet of plywood for the floor so it,s 4x8 feet..so yep it,ll fit in a truck box I believe finished setup size is 8x8 feet.
No need for plans..i,ve watched this like 100 times and have it figured out...now to get the lumber and build it. I have a trailer to set it on and i,Il be using mine as a cabin way back in the woods.
MAY I HAVE THE PLANS PLEASE IM OING TO DO MINE ON A SLED HAS ANYONE USEC OROPLAST SHEETS IN BUILDING ICE HUT THY ARE THICK 2 LAYERS F LON CELLS MAYBE SPRY FOAM T INSIDE OOF THEM MAY WRK?
Did you have any luck? I made a similar one out of fluted plastic election signs, folded down and was portable either with a bike or in a shopping cart
+ssom06 That bottom would get stuck in the ice and you would have to leave it there. I seen a lot of fish houses here in Minnesota and people don't have the bottoms off the ice. What happens is they bring in some heat source and the ice below the shelter melts. They then leave it on the ice and the next morning when they want to move it find out it is glued into the ice. They end up picking at the ice to get their shack free and give up and leave the bottom behind or just leave the whole thing there all winter long till spring and they wait till the ice thaws and the shack sinks and floats across the lake wherever the wind blows it.
Like others, I'd LOVE to have plans for this shack or shelter. It has LOADS of potential in so many areas.
Nice chicken coupe
Love the music! Thanks for sharing your video!
Excelente idea, muy bonita e ingeniosa..Felicitaciones!
I can certainly see this in the bed of a pickup or on a trailer. Amazing idea.
Pontoon........

Maybe foam insulation with double foil inside and out........yup
Fantastic and thank you.
Very nice design. Many brilliant features. Thanks for sharing.
If you are gonna do that, include roof boards, otherwise its too much a tent. I love it. cool. Thanks for sharing.
I like the music!
Slick,, yup pretty damn slick
Bloody beautifull smart 🇦🇺great design🐨
i was like what is the purpose of the building then I seen that it was for ice fishing. Pretty
Looks great, but maybe a bit heavy. Love the music!
great idea.
Novedoso, me gusta.😉
I would like one of these shacks.
This is so cool. But my question is how do the piece lock together?
In the Winter when it's windy on the lake a roof like that would make it very loud inside.
How keen is that!
Hey by any chance you can give me the plans for this? this is awesome. thanks
Do you sell plans for your ice fishing shack?
Perfect with those 3 bathroom buckets. That will help in case 3 people have to pee in the night at the exact same time.
Where are you guys from? This is awesome.
I can see this as a portable Tent.
How much did it cost for the wood roughly
how can i acquire plans for this Ice Shanty?
I'd worry some about the tarp roof for heat retention especially without any insulation as well as durability. The rest seems good tho.
+joe woodchuck
It's only for ice fishing in, not for camping over night. It's just enough to keep you out of the wind, which is all you need.
+SpiritBear12 you still would want a heater in there
Roberto Medina
A small heater out of the wind would work fine enough in there.
It looks like an insulated tarp.
Passive solar since it's a dark color and don't sleep in there. If it's wari enough to sleep in you would not have thick enough ice to be on the lake.
Interesting.

pudge what I do is put 2x4s under shack then pound 2x4 with hammer and it comes right up
👍😂
Reinventing the pickup camper, but home made and not as good. Nice, but who would want to live like that?
it's not to live in its for ice fishing
