Having a bunch of different colored fruits and veggies is actually a good indicator for getting a lot of different nutrients! Plus color can always brighten someone's day! So it's not silly.

Have you ever made the roll ups the other way? Use sliced meat pat it dry then put the Mayo or what not on it then The cheese and pickle(basically just using the meat as the outside). My aunt used to make ham cream cheese and dill pickle roll ups like that.

This might be random but I've been suffering depression lately and falling on my face in the wife life department between work kids and all life throws at us. But you said "he would be eating fast food every day and that's not good." My guy is a super picky eater but I think he acts more picky than he is l swear it's like a sensory thing. It's sometimes really distressing bc I didnt learn how to manage it just yet. But you helped me. I'm writing up a list based off this video now. It's simple enough and general enough for him to possibly like. Im gonna try to figure him out and quit feeling this way. I'm gonna learn him. Love is learning. Not giving up on a difficult aspect. You made me feel like its doable. thank you. P.s. mine is also a josh. But he sorts what goes in to trucks. Lol

I love this! I always look forward to these videos I can relate my husband used to be a truck driver but now he’s a supervisor in a warehouse so now he has access to a microwave & fridge which does make a huge difference but these are great ideas I wish I knew about that lunchbox that warms up food then lol I was just so creative with cold lunches Pinterest helped a lot & some days he did pick up food to change it up. But I will use these ideas! Love your content can’t wait for another kids lunch idea I get into a recipe rut lol especially for kids! ☺️

I've been living in my truck the last 5 years and finally figured I miss having a kitchen and my own bathroom.
I don't have a husband to make me lunches so I'll be getting my pointers from you.
I'm home on weekends and I do have a cooler and a microwave so I've been buying stuff in bulk cause it's cheaper and freezing the leftover meals in take along containers which fit great in my cooler and as they thaw out I microwave and eat them.

You should look into getting a Brita! You can fill it with water from your sink and keep it in the fridge and you’ll always have cold filtered water without all the plastic waste! It’s a game changer
I’ll definitely look into it! We drink so much water that it makes me feel guilty going through so many plastic bottles a day.

My hubby got me one of those energy drinks the other day and I literally just drank it! It was amazing!!! I had the Hawaiian Shaved Ice flavor. Yummy! I’m your fried rice, try adding a tiny bit of sesame oil towards the end with the soy sauce, tastes just like Chinese takeout! I have got to try those sausage balls! Thanks so much for these ideas! I make fried rice all the time. I always got upset that it didn't taste like restaurant quality. Then I got a jar of oyster sauce and just put a spoonful in. Cook it I to the rice and it's amazing. It will definitely take your fried rice from homemade to more restaurant style.

We use to have something similar to the pickle roll ups all the time we called the pickle things and it was deli ham, cream cheese and pickles rolled up! So yummy!

My husband is a truck driver to. But gone Mon thru Friday. So since the pandemic I started making all his breakfast an lunch an supper. To help prevent him from getting sick.It gets tuff trying to figure it all out sometimes every weekend. But I know he's eating healthy an getting to eat. An slowly I'm learning tricks to make it easier , healthier and no food poison lol. I need all help I can get 😆

Make a basket of paper plates, plastic spoons an forks ect for just truck. I also make a small emergency food box put a couple cans of tuna an can meat ect .. My husband also has his own cabinet at home with soups , crackers, drink ect . He.can just pick what he wants for week.
