To answer your question about the difference between 1 way 1.5 way and 2 way differentials is when the differential is locked under acclertion or deceleration. 1 way. Is locked fully on acceleration, and open on deceleration. 1.5 way is fully locked on acceleration and partially locked on deceleration and 2 way is fully locked on acceleration and deceleration. That's why many drifters prefer 2 way as it's more predictable in transitions since it's always locked, and road racers prefer 1.5 way because you have more stability and better turn in under braking that a 1 way.
"safety21" is a roll cage producer. the cage is probably made by that company. I think it's actually the same producer of the Cusco cage line but the safety21 is safer. the Cusco cages are more for show than actual function
I have a 93' GTiR - can see some videos on my page - body is probably XR1 bonnet is missing the side vents so thats not a GTiR. That's a GTiR SR20DET rocker cover from a 54c version of the SR that was in all GTiRs. So most probably GTiR engine. The intake pelenum is stock but modded - ITBs standard - That rad is probably no good for track days or even struggle in warm weather - drag car for sure. Those wheels are stock Pulsar n14 sss/GTiR rims with out center caps. Most note worth is the Nismo Diff as the front an rears are hard to get and worth a bit, the centers nismo Diff are incredible rear and expensive, to check for a Nismo front/rear requires you pull out drive shafts and look :/
My supra came with those injectors in the intake pipe, 3 of them actually :) the compressor is Garret TA45 with HKS T04S exhaust side hybrid thingy...don't really like that method of adding fuelling though...
A standard 1-Way LSD "locks up" under acceleration only. A full 2-Way LSD "locks up" under both acceleration and deceleration. A 1.5-Way LSD locks up under acceleration and only slightly under deceleration.
Where is the petrol tank? I don't think the X1R came out 4wd so is that just a fake graphic at the back? Would be great if you and the new owner post a vid of this on the road once running.
great sleeper, most people would be like "oh look another ricer with noisy exhausts" and then you totally destroy them, even some italian supercars i would bet.
In New Zealand we have them all i mean all the models. X1R is a baseline model 1.6 efi engine. Looks like the previous owner did mods to this x1R pulsar. Has the same engine as your b14 sentras in the states 1.6 litre.
@@Jonathan-wl3un or could it also be the pulsar gti? Which came with the sr18de engine lsd transmission my mate had one which also had the centre aerial. I see you have a nisssn pulsar vzr pic I had black one as well sold it to my dad.
@@stopspin I also have 2 GTIRs and a GTi and the GTI's dont have the ariel in the centre only the n14 GTIR came with the ariel in the centre it also has an entire rear gtir subframe so to convert a GTi like that would cost upwards of 10k because the GTIR has a completely different floor because of the drivetrain
Weird that it says x1r as that is actually a fwd car. maybe the hatch got transferred? there is a 3 second check if it is a genuine JDM GTiR: on the driver side there should be an umbrella stashed in the rear quarter panel accessible when opening the door. you could also check the vin as it should read e-rnn14
What's the reason for not getting an inspection? And the cars around it look totaled. Does that mean this car is salvaged or wrecked? Maybe because it doesn't run?
Derick i really miss those videos of purchasing skyline, civic, integra, silvia, accord etc.. Cars that you usually used to film before I like your videos derick even tho i'm still you're subscriber!
720cc isnt big enough for 600whp... not that u said whp... for that he ganna need 1000cc n up... 67pistons means he can spool that turbo easier... now a 2.1cc motor... its a gtir for sure... jus debadged... or someone od on a normal x1r... i would love to own another one again... i had a 93 with a sun roof... 320whp... i think i also see a bulge to the front left of the driver side seat which means it is a genuine gtir...
My sr20det has 740cc injectors at about 300hp with up to a 47% injector duty. Knowing that, I dont think this car could make more than 600hp on those injectors. I would guess between 500-550hp. This is a very basic way of thinking though, so who knows.
it's not a very light-weight car. unfortunately. but it is about 200kg lighter than BNR, so, in stock, it's a very quick bastard. :-) mean. that's an awesome car. it even has no rust! damn. 10 years ago I would've bought it. but now... I'll have to pay about 10k$ only as a customs tax...
+Ivan Kudinov Yeah I hear that a lot, that the larger the engine, the higher the tax. Sorry man, that sucks. I can say I am very grateful for the USA to not charge those sort of taxes.
TBH this actually looks like a bucket of shit....It was properly a track weapon in its time but Id bet it will need a rebuild. No air filter with a turbo that low to the ground alone would make the internals look like sand paper after road driving. It wont start so you cant check diff noises gearbox clutch etc. To me this is a big gambol. Best of luck to the new owner but wouldn't risk it.
+Josh M They are not. They have 230 bhp standard while an R32 GTR eventhough advertised at 280, is closer to 300ish. There is a considerable weight difference, but the R32 is still faster on the straight. Best Motoring tested them both and the R32 was clearly pulling away. The pulsar will do 1/4 mile in high 13's while the R32 does it in low 13's.
+ThePwnij On a small circut the GTiR and R32 GTR are even, but circuts with longer straights the GTR wins, that's factory btw, after 10k~ mods each the GTR will win.

My friend back in the UK had a GTiR pushing out around 420 bhp. Thing was nuts!
Originally the X1R apparently had a G16DE motor.
GTIR had 227bhp out the box similar to the Cosworth, WRX and the delta which were rallying at that time

bouncyninja it is a gtir, only the R's had the aerial central on the roof
This car was originally a Nissan Pulsar X1R with a twin cam ga16de 1.6l gasoline engine we have heaps of them in my country all imports
George McHardy unless you live in japan, they're all imports everywhere bud
Nope
My supra came with those injectors in the intake pipe, 3 of them actually :) the compressor is Garret TA45 with HKS T04S exhaust side hybrid thingy...don't really like that method of adding fuelling though...
It always made me sad these never came to the states, I used to love these lil hatches an people used to say I was weird.
X1r was originally a 1600 engine pulsar model they also came in 1800cc somebody used the shell here swapped all the bits for draggin.......🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎
it's a original gtir, stickers can be changed

look under the back for a start.. GTiR is all wheel drive.

great sleeper, most people would be like "oh look another ricer with noisy exhausts" and then you totally destroy them, even some italian supercars i would bet.
You would beat them in a drag, destructive dude. :) On the other hand, a real man would know that this car is legit. :)
Standard injector size on the Nissan pulsar Gtir is 440cc
later in video it has rear diff..... looks like a bitsa, maybe made with parts from a GTiR
In New Zealand we have them all i mean all the models. X1R is a baseline model 1.6 efi engine. Looks like the previous owner did mods to this x1R pulsar. Has the same engine as your b14 sentras in the states 1.6 litre.
its not an x1r because the ariel is in the centre of the roof only n14 gtirs had them in the centre

+banpeinet The umbrella was fazed out in 93 and 94.
Ah yes true. That was only a feature on the first series. well, then you should rely on the model code instead. ;)
its been a long time dereck !!! please tell what is the average price of a good s15 thx
lol at the blow off vavle plumbed in at the atmosphere vent
370° Duration? hahahahahahahaha! I think I know why the engine isn't running!
how much approx would it cost?
I've missed your videos! much love from portugal :)
What's the reason for not getting an inspection? And the cars around it look totaled. Does that mean this car is salvaged or wrecked? Maybe because it doesn't run?
+Giancarlo Eiras
This section is for no-inspection cars. If the car is not running, or has been in an accident then it must go into this section.
Surprised you didn't show/mention the umbrella compartment
I didn't know about it when I made this video. Not all of them had them but I will certainly check it out for the next one.
Correct. I love my GTiR. I have a 91 beta. I'm looking for an umbrella if you come across one. Love the video and need watch the "what happened"

I would love to post those videos but the port changed their policy. I have a video called, "What Happened" that explains it.

Very cool
+PacificCoastAuto U have calculate with the injectors. 720 / 6 = 120 120*4=480 makes 480 hp at 100 % duty. so maybe 450 hp.
it's sad to see it lumped together with all the wrecked cars... did your customer buy it?
Shame you dont mention prices
it's not a very light-weight car. unfortunately. but it is about 200kg lighter than BNR, so, in stock, it's a very quick bastard. :-)
mean. that's an awesome car. it even has no rust!
damn. 10 years ago I would've bought it. but now... I'll have to pay about 10k$ only as a customs tax...
Josh M Russia. Importing tax is about 10k$ for 2.0L engine. The bigger engine - the bigger tax.
+Ivan Kudinov Yeah I hear that a lot, that the larger the engine, the higher the tax. Sorry man, that sucks. I can say I am very grateful for the USA to not charge those sort of taxes.
How much does is cost to import a car to Tacoma washington?
I don't know for Washington but I know there are a couple companys in Virginia that import the car and give it a Virginia tag for you. like 2k+
+Namie Newell dude he's on the west coast lmao
I think it's obvoius I'm not from the U.S...oops.
Namie Newell well I didn't know
2x oops
Mini Godzilla. Sleeper car.
How much

Hello Derek!
+Mykrez Hi
holy i said 650 also hahahahah

SNYPERWULF you are most probably right. Wear and tear is a real thing. Some dumb ass will still overpay
I need this how much
This car does not have 280 bhp standard, it's 230 bhp and a stock GTR is faster.

Purchase it and I will take it of your hands..thanks I/A
That Yaris looked nice until went around the front 😄

dats cool
Giant Killer
That's never been a GTiR
I would buy that shit

Felipe Jardim that means 280 crank hp.
^
Yeah they aren't 280hp buddy lol.
Ryan Kolesar Powerlifting àhahaha not at all my cousin has one and only has intake/straight pipe makes 200awhp
