Eram. Your talks are phenomenal. I request you to please also talk about the rise of LGBTQ+ in Pakistan. People promoting transgenderism, homosexuality to the point they deny that Islam ever negated it in the first place. I would want you to please shed light on these things, and I'd love to hear your perspective.

Ma'am @ErumSaeedCoaching, would you please elaborate on the definition of a "forced marriage"? I was forced to get engaged to this cousin despite my refusal. My parents conducted an istikhara and told me that this engagement is happening no matter what! I got scared that if I refuse tot he marriage, I'll envoke Allah's wrath so I quietly got married.... is my marriage a forced marriage because technically I said yes to everything at the end....

I completely agree!!! These dramas are so full of crap and immature beliefs about women especially. I never watched them, even when my family members were watching them. I always focused on watching educational content as learning makes me the happiest. Great video Ms Eram, absolutely spot on 💯💯

I just really hate these dramas just bocz piyar shadi talaq ky siwa nhi dikhaty kch... Br br hr dramy me shadi shadi dikha kr srf shadi beth chuki minds me parents ko lgta hy beti bari jo gai shadi kr do girls boys same concept applies too.. These drama makers never think they posses social responsibility.. Dikhana hi kia chahty hen.. Nhi hen yr women weak hy hi nhi jb to dikha hi q rhy or phr log dekh q rhyy..

You are lucky to be at University, however there are dramas which are on social issues as a way to educate the masses, and many deal, with workplace harassment of women, women’s rights in a marriage, domestic violence, sexual assault, which can’t be hidden but exposed so young women can learn! Yes I agree those boring Saad Bahn, and toxic men is odious to watch, but those with social issues are well worth away h, like Dil na umeed tou nahi, Udaari etc!

@@gerryburntwood9617 yes I'm agree with your point. There are few dramas which are highly appreciable. On the other hand, this drama industry contributes to our economy, the main concern is it should be the responsibility of our youth to watch worthy dramas.

My mum.used to.tell me to watch them I'd learn something when I was a kid. I learnt nothing at all, living in a foreign country especially. I don't even understand how the stories apply to us. If I was told to watch for entertainment , I wouldn't say it was entertaining. It was like a daily dose of suffering. Yes Pakistanis are addicted to victimhood and suffering. They need to Learn to take some accountability. Same applies to my mom. Break the generational curse. Our grandparents did not raise healthy children. They went through trauma during the partition

💯 agree with you on these stupid dramas.
Honestly if this was a real life scenario even the worst parents have figured out what has happened. And once known such calamity has happened every one would have pulled together to support them. Just to dramatise whole picture they have turned it in to a stupid scenario.
About 'tere bin' one can not distinguish between a badtameez, arrogant immature young girl who does not know what she actually wants from life from a mature goal oriented lady as depicted in 'zindagi gulzar hay'

    • @ahzeesh

Driving taxi in Pakistan for women is like saanp k bil mein hath dena...its so insecure . Sarak par khary khary log lut jaty hain..taxi chalany wali aurat kaisay bach sakti hai..? Its too risky...in real life, sooner or later she will get into serious trouble. Coz there are no implementation of law n order...women getting raped usually dont get justice, many of them dont even dare to raise their voices... though idea of empowerment was good..that could be other safer options.

First of all, these dramas are not made kepping in view Islamic values. Second of all, our culture has over-shadowed Islam hence people pay no heed to what Islam says and focus on what culture is (izzat/zillat issues) The drama industry makers are not Educators because they themselves need Education. The industry runs on ratings, viewership and survives on revenue, thats it. They are not concerned with what negative impact these dramas may have on public because moral education is none of their Business. Harsh Realities!
