Since I'm here so early, I just wanted to let y'all know that your videos got me through some tough times a couple years ago. Watching someone who is passionate about what they do is such a privilege! Thank you so much, you reach people in more ways than you might think
Couple of thoughts. As someone who has been to Disney, living in NY, more times then I care to admit, I think we can get a bit jaded. A little under 30 years ago my wife and I splurged for an awesome trip before we had kids, she had just become a Physican Assitant. We bordeline starved when she left her full time job to pursue it and a 5 night stay in the concierge at the Poly, at all of $279 per night was the prize. At any rate, I had been to WDW all of three time prior, 1972, 1978, and 1984. I was born in 1967. My wife had been a few times more, but nothing crazy. When we walked in to San Angel for dinner I was mesmerized. We left the FL sun 2 minutes before and were immersed in the night sky of Mexico, I was hooked. They likely could have served me Taco Bell and I wouldn't care, it was such a great experience. Granted, what was inspiring 30 years ago isn't the same as today but anyone walking in has to at least be a little impressed by the ambiance. My point is that those of us who have been frequently, or who have our standards changed due to the latest tech, may not be able to adequately express the experince to the once or twice and done Disney fan. I would tell anyone who hasn't experienced it to give it a shot. Oh, and second point, Disney is robbing everyone with the cost of alcohol. If you are on a bugdet, things get cheaper very quickly without it.
With the news from the studios and its new office space I was concerned about the lava business. At first I thought contacts may have been lost, but perhaps the new "offices" are really a front for lava traders. My relief at the mention of lava side business was palpable in this video. IYKYK.
I’m only a little past 10 minutes into the video but seriously, watching Molly interact with any character never fails to make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside 🥹 I can only aspire to have such amazing character interactions!! Also, thank you for the San Angel Inn tips. It’s still on my list to go to for my next trip solely because the pollo a las rajas just SOUNDS good and I just wanna eat while watching the boats go by lol but I will keep other options open as well. I’m loving this series so far y’all!!!
I absolutely love the character interactions! I never know what to say and just shy out and ask for a picture. Seeing you being able to have conversations is awesome and warms my heart. Please don’t ever stop!
My daughter and I were at Space 220 that evening and got to meet you both. You were kind, even though we interrupted your dessert. You both have helped us so much on our last 2 trips. We appreciate all that you do!
Epcot truly is a park where festival booths and quick service uniqueness make it hard to remember the dining that’s there year round. All of these restaurants seem awesome, but it’ll take not going during a fest for me to want to try any of these. It’s good to know that there’s so much amazing food to choose from in this park though
Seeing the Space 220 menu gave me an idea: I’m a big Living with the Land fan - what about a video of a progressive dinner eating only dishes made with produce grown in The Land? I think it’s one of the coolest things Disney does and it’s one of the last remaining vestiges of Walt’s original vision for EPCOT as a fully sustainable community.
Love all your content! We did the Space 220 Lounge in August (family of 4 including a 4 and 7yo). Kids thought it was cool, but overall, it was a one and done for us. I used a 3rd party service called "Add More Magic" to snag the Lounge resservation (great service!). I thought we would be out quicker since we did the Lounge, but there were a few things that were different than I expected: first, kids were REQUIRED to get the kid pre-fixe meal, even at the Lounge . . . which was $35/kid for dinner. And we were told we could not order anything a la carte off the adult pre-fixe menu -- only the flight bites or a couple other options they had for entrees (a burger and something else I can't recall now). We could split, though. We decided there would likely be enough foor for all of us if my husband and I split a burger and shared some of the kids' meals. And this was true. Sooo, we definitely saved $ vs doing the whole pre-fixe thing, but still spent more ($ and time) than expected given not knowing the kids had to get the pre-fixe meals. 🤷🏻♀️ Live and learn. It was fun, but we were a little underwhelmed in general, and it was definitely a time suck (about 2hrs from entry to exit).
We finally ate at Space 220 this past summer and were under whelmed. We have a son who loves space and that’s why we wanted to go. We got a seat next to the window but way off center. It was awful. Our kids didn’t get to see much of any of the moving astronauts or vehicles. The food was good but not worth it. We paid $500 for a family of 4 and part of that is we tipped well because the service was good. I would eat at T Rex any day over space 220 with kids. Molly - I LOVE your outfit in this. Everything about it looked great!
We were just there a week ago. I had been trying to get a reservation at the Space 220 lounge for months and was unsuccessful but we decided to try for a spot at the bar. We waited maybe 10 mins and got right in. It did not fail to impress! We loved the theming and the food - we had the short rib sliders...omg amazing! ❤
The 220 atmosphere is the selling point, like Sci-Fi Dine-In. You approached it exactly right - lounge over prix fixe. Save a bit, get the experience. Well done!
All of your caveats on Space 220 are warranted, but having said that, if your group wants to go, they I’ll let you mix and match courses from the kids’ menu, and there’s a chocolate caramel sphere on the kids’ dessert menu that we’re still talking about months later. Spectacular presentation, and one of the yummiest things we ate in Disney. Don’t sleep on that sphere.
I generally go to Space 220 when I’m with people who just really want to try it. I’ve found the food I like and order the same thing every time, they make it seem worth the price.
San angel has never disappointed me. I know some very American palettes don’t get some of the flavors, but my Honduran family loves it. I adore the avocado margaritas too!
We went to SciFi Diner during our last visit & were SO disappointed. The vibe was conflicted- you're supposed to be at a drive in movie but you couldn't hear anything thru the speakers & it felt very lifeless and subdued. The cars have been expanded to seat multiple parties- leaving almost no room for your food plates, and it's so dark we had to use our cell phone lights to read the menu. The menu was limited and just ok. I would love to hear your opinions on this one..
My only issue with the quick service restaurants is the seating. I go to Disney solo and it’s hard to save a seat. So paying extra for an actual sit down place is better for me.
We ate at the Space 220 restaurant last May. We loved the food and the experience all together! Especially when comparing it to, for example, the ‘French’ dinner at Beauty & The Beast Castle. That experience was not really to our content. But maybe it also has to do with the fact that we are from Europe and we compared that against real French cuisine. With that in mind, we thought is was mid at best. Experience was fun for once in a lifetime though.
The chicken cutlet curry at Katsura Grill is one of my favorite quick service meals at Disney. The other dishes I've tried there are just OK, but I will come back for the curry.
It is, and it's crazy hard to get. My travel agent tried at 7a on the dot when our window opened, and there was NOTHING for our entire stay. There are 3rd party services you can use to get Disney dining reservations that can help you get tough ones (which is what we did to get the lounge).
I love this series! I don't often do sit down dining in Epcot but I have been wanting to try Space 220. I've also heard mixed reviews. I trust Molly and Alan's judgment so I'm looking forward to hearing what you guys think. Oh, also I need to know where Molly got her "Grand and Miraculous" Spaceship Earth shirt cuz it's awesome.
San Angel inn is such a classic resturant at Epcot i recently ate there and it was so good the enchiladas were delecious and Japan is my favorite pavillion.
I was able to snag a Space 220 reservation and then I canceled it when I found out it’s one of the very few restaurants that I can’t use DDP. I think it’s dumb that a whimsy restaurant like this isn’t included in the Dining Plan (even if it was a 2 credit)
I've been to San Angel Inn a few times, always enjoyed it and if I want a quick bite, Choza. San Angel may be a little expensive but the food is good and atmosphere great. It's dark (so is SciFi Dine), just keep that in mind if it will be a problem for you. I'm pretty much allergic to Katsura grill's menu so that's one I have not been to. Space 220 food was perfectly fine the one time I had been there. It was expensive in dollar cost but worse in terms of how much time it took.
Another one you should do is California Grill. Wow what a let down. We have had such great experiences in the past. Besides the great view of the fireworks that was really the only thing. Wish we had gone to steakhouse 71 instead. Menu has completely changed not for the better. No a la carte anything. At least when we were there. No shortrib wontons which i know everyone loves. Also when are they bringing back the brunch? Also agree with Mexico we went there as well for dinner. Last time was in the 90's. Besides the atmosphere which we loved not much else going for it. Wasn't impressed with the food especially when there are so many better dinner options in Epcot. Thank you for your videos as always :)
Thanks for this! I’m going in April and might give San Angel a second chance based on your review. Just a note: I just had ramen in NYC and they also left off the egg (even as the picture on the menu had eggs and as custom demands it). I could get it as an up charge tho. 🙄Maybe due to the egg shortage?
There are so many great options why settle for a good one at Epcot? That’s my take on all these places. I do recommend space 220 for everyone to try once but always the lounge to save dollars but doesn’t need to be a regular stop.
I’ve heard that for a sit down Mexican meal, La Hacienda de San Angel is the better option, both for even better food and if you time it right, a view of the fireworks. What is your experience with this restaurant?
Hi, just thought abt it, since becoming a new Universal AP holder, id love to see the cheapest food options they have in the park, and what might be the tastiest or the best deal
In Mexico, they're version of quesadillas and nachos are alot different than my version. The food wasn't anything great and crazy high priced for the tiny portions they brought out.
The San Angel Inn is just in a position where it can’t win. For most Americans, they will be disappointed that it’s not the mass produced and fladerized “Mexican”, with store bought tortillas and shredded cheese. It’s not what they are used to. For people from Mexico, or even the Southwest with Tex-Mex, it is not authentic enough so again it falls flat. I think fully committing to authentic food is the correct choice, but it will most likely be too spicy for most guests.
I just went to Space 220 about a month ago and it really wasn’t as bad as I had heard. Katsura Grill on the other hand is an embarrassment to Japanese cuisine.

The pad Thai is decent but the Fam knows the REAL reason you go to Space 220 is its potential for lava acquisition! 🌋🧡
Under the business table deals!
Totaly the food in space220 is a cover up for the deals.😂
Couple of thoughts. As someone who has been to Disney, living in NY, more times then I care to admit, I think we can get a bit jaded. A little under 30 years ago my wife and I splurged for an awesome trip before we had kids, she had just become a Physican Assitant. We bordeline starved when she left her full time job to pursue it and a 5 night stay in the concierge at the Poly, at all of $279 per night was the prize. At any rate, I had been to WDW all of three time prior, 1972, 1978, and 1984. I was born in 1967. My wife had been a few times more, but nothing crazy. Molly is so good at character interactions! This is so good for those earning their ears.
I found Waldo! Behind Molly when she tries the enchilada. 😅

Molly, your nails are just phenomenal. They're great all the time, but this videos nails are just chef's kiss
Love the idea of asking the characters how they want to pose.

Another fun video as always ! “ I’m not being violent enough “ is that a Molly quote of the year so far ? LOL keep up the good work !
I have been on the Keto diet for four months. I watch your food reviews to torment myself. Mission accomplished.
I’m so glad we got a song at the end from Molly. I didn’t know if we would get one but the grand finally Slaps!!
Thank you for your honest review of these restaurants. You reviews are a big help for us
I'm in love with y'all’s content 😭 I watch every morning when I go on my treadmill 🥳🫶
The Bezos joke is *chef’s kiss.* Also, you two would love Mexico City and you should totally plan a trip around the San Angel Inn. ❤
We were just there a week ago. I had been trying to get a reservation at the Space 220 lounge for months and was unsuccessful but we decided to try for a spot at the bar. Is it... Weird... Rafiki is at epcot? Like for a moment i looked away and thought they had gone to animal kingdom.
Definitely jarring!
20:50 big al suffering from vertigo after the space elevator trip, thinking he's at living with the land...
Love the new song and glad you got the chance to reexperience some past meals
I eat at San Angel every visit. Four times in a row. Always good and relaxing
The 220 atmosphere is the selling point, like Sci-Fi Dine-In. You approached it exactly right - lounge over prix fixe. Save a bit, get the experience. Well done!
I love the rare characters in international gateway. Yes to more Rabbit in the Parks.
Bugs Bunny 😉😉

Where can I get that awesome Spaceship earth shirt!?
YAY MORE REDEMPTION FOOD!❤ I was hoping that you would make this a series!
To be clear, that wasn’t a dig at man fam! Just voicing support for what I consider a hidden gem lol.
Good morning, Mam Fam!
Aww I can’t believe you saw Rabbit!!
I love how Molly says SPÄCE.
Space220 is one of the best restaurants at Disney in my opinion. From the food to the atmosphere, I love everything about it.
We went to SciFi Diner during our last visit & were SO disappointed. Rabbit is the cutest ❤
3:51 I've never eaten at a sit down restaurant in epcot and at those prices at San Angel, I never will
My only issue with the quick service restaurants is the seating. I go to Disney solo and it’s hard to save a seat. So paying extra for an actual sit down place is better for me.
i really like the space220 lounge (saw a molly review just after it opened, a couple years ago, and have to agree)
San Angel Inn is always a must for my family when visiting EPCOT
Say "Hi" to Gaston for me ! 😂
Loved San Angel Inn. Probably the best Mexican food I’ve had.

Went to San Angel recently and thought it was great!
My daughter really wants to go to Space 220 for her birthday trip. Is the lounge a different type of reservation?
It is, and it's crazy hard to get. My travel agent tried at 7a on the dot when our window opened, and there was NOTHING for our entire stay. There are 3rd party services you can use to get Disney dining reservations that can help you get tough ones (which is what we did to get the lounge).
Molly... 3 words.... AMORETTES...CHARCUTERIE... CROISSANT......
I saw that today and immediately thought of Molly!!
@ladyrazorsharp 🤣🤣🤣 I literally paused the video and came over here to comment
I'm so happy that I met you before I rode GotG Cosmic Rewind last Monday. It was not pretty. 🙃🙃
Omg I forgot about Plant Donald! 😂
I love this series! I don't often do sit down dining in Epcot but I have been wanting to try Space 220. I've also heard mixed reviews. Based on how she’s pronouncing “space” I think Molly is hinting to Alan the she wants a “spas” gift certificate for Valentine’s day.
I feel like the food at Space 220 was always quite good, it's just really expensive and hard to get in when there are SO many great options at Epcot.

Comparing the cost here against The Cellar in Canadia is lost on us. It's more like "Do you want to spend 80 bucks on your meal and NOT get pizza? :D
Let's talk about the ears with the pink and blue edge...I know it's the bubble gum wall .. but I'd like to think it's a statement. Silent support?
California grill used to be so good and now it sucks
Another one you should do is California Grill. Wow what a let down. We have had such great experiences in the past. Besides the great view of the fireworks that was really the only thing. What did you call those green beans?? 😂😂
Katsura Grill sounded (and looked) like a mega disappointment. Hearing it was redeemed was surprising.
haricot verts = "har-EE coh ver" french for green beans
Thanks for this! I’m going in April and might give San Angel a second chance based on your review. Just a note: I just had ramen in NYC and they also left off the egg (even as the picture on the menu had eggs and as custom demands it). I like the space 220 “ticket.” Do they let you keep it?
😂😂😂 Molly, brilliant joke about Bezos
How long should one plan on for dining at 220 for lunch?
At Space 220 some of the entrees are different for lunch & dinner.
There are so many great options why settle for a good one at Epcot? That’s my take on all these places. I do recommend space 220 for everyone to try once but always the lounge to save dollars but doesn’t need to be a regular stop.
Definitely one and done!

Can kids sit in the lounge at Space 220? Last time we were there they couldn't.
I don’t know? Space 220 has the best steak of the 4 I had in last year on my trip.
Molly, I need to know where you got that cute shirt from???
Katsura Grill was really bad last year. Crowded, trash on floors, bad food.
We found Waldo... 8.02 minutes in.
Molly, I love your fanny pack. Where did you get it??
Haven't been to 220, but it seems pretty noisy for that price point
can you do chef mickeys??❤
Let's be clear san angle inn only gets the bad rap because of price...people are used to cheap Mexican food.
I just went to Space 220 about a month ago and it really wasn’t as bad as I had heard. Katsura Grill on the other hand is an embarrassment to Japanese cuisine.
Katsura... GRILL... You didn't get anything grilled...
Katsura is a tree… I don’t think many people would like grilled trees.
My most disappointing restaurant in Epcot: Le Cellier. It got hyped to the point of legendary. I’ve been there twice. Both times was a let down. So as everyone knows peoples opinions are just that. Opinions.
Also Mexico bad reviews for poor lighting
Monsieur Paul’s is the most disappointing, over priced and uninspired flavourless food….avoid at all cost….
Disney food has been sub par for years and years...manage you expectations and budget...
Need a poll:
Should Molly:
a) pronounce “space” correctly
b) continue to mispronounce it in her silly little way
Correctly
However she likes. 🙂
It was excellent the 80s, just like most of Epcot in the 1980s. Sucks now.
First
Alan talks???
