I'm sure that the pride in the machine that you rebuilt from the ground up, doing the job it's made to do, helped ease the backache at least a little. Orange Crush is by far the coolest and most unique machine I've ever seen on RUclips. I'm looking forward to whatever you get into next.
Yeah it was well worth the effort. Its got so much character. Its made to do some hard work and respecting its limits is wise. Thanks ill see you there
Awesome stuff. The old iron lives again, again! Hopefully that blown head gasket didn't leave Mr Crush too much worse for wear. I'm sure your back was feeling just dandy after all that, I'd be laid up for a week with that solid seat mount. Keep up the excellent work, I really enjoy your uploads. I fired up a new to me international 345 the other weekend, got it for free and shes a runner! Leaks oil like a sieve, but that can all be remedied. Also started work on a motor swap in my grandfathers bullnose ford, got videos up on those on my other channel. Was gonna drop a 460 in there in place of the tired old 351m but plans have changed. Gonna be unique that's for sure. Video in the works on that development. Might be changing channel names on the other one because someone else has basically the exact same name even though I searched it and got no results previously. Frustrating but oh well. Anyway, great to see the orange machine plugging away, and to see you keeping it on the move. That new cutting blade seemed to help quite a bit! Impressive little machine.
Thanks and im glad you enjoyed. Very difficult to film a small dozer that moves very slow. I think the head gasket failure steamed the oil into jelly and that may have starved it a bit. At some point this engine will fail but if i can squeeze 20-40 hrs out then that makes it worth it! Good luck with the 460 swap. Advance the cam and youll have tons of power
It seems like some of your pushing that you are doing with the machine, it is in to high of a gear. I would suggest put it in a lower gear if it has one. Just a suggestion
That is first gear. A full blade of dirt and rock weighs as much as the machine itself. It is geared to prevent parts breaking. I am operating at half throttle because of the rocks if the ground didnt have icebergs i could really go but not here
Really have to appreciate the toughness that went into that machine, robust engineering. You are an amazing mechanic to be able to bring it back!
@@skip7243 thank you the mity kat and i appreciate that. Most don’t appreciate the miracle that took place there

She does a pretty good job, for her age she does a real good job. Finish getting the kinks worked out and you have a fine old toy/tool.
Cant complain to much with the results. The edge made a big differance. I imagine fixing the pins so the blade is tight would help
That would look so good working next to my 81 yr old tractor.
@@normhowes2975 yeah it would!
Cool stuff. Fun to see it working. Bogs down a bit but at 75 who wouldn't. 😂
Its purposely designed to have just enough power. Otherwise you would break and bend things
@@jmpsavescars I guess that makes sense on a smaller machine.
@@TheDistur yeah its still here doing the same job so its allmost unbreakable!
badass!
Looks like it needs to be heavier but very cool
@@chuckh.2227 it weighs 2500 lbs!

Does that milkshake bring all the boys to the yard? 😂
