Interesting. Hydraulic it in there! Nice. I usually take my squirt can and dribble the length of the exterior of those cables. It seems to seep in thru the housing and still help. On this Pettibone Multi-krane I have serviced over the years, when the large Morse style throttle cable gets stiff, I remove it and hang it vertically in the shop during the winter lay-up. Every day walking by it, I dribble ATF in the end. After a month, the oil makes it's way thru the 14 foot cable and it works like new again for another 10 years. Tricks in playing with garbage.

Avoid Tons Of Stress With Your 2014 Subaru Forester XT 2.0 Turbo! Replace The Gas Cap Part Number (42031FJ001) If You Get Check Engine= Emissions, Hill Assist, Traction Control, Tachometer, Flashing (S) Mode Etc. It Could Be Many things! But Tighten The Gas Cap And Start The Car Then Turn It Off For 10 Seconds And Restart Will Clear All The Dash Lights! Now, Interesting Is That I Have A 2012 Honda Pilot And Only One Dash Light Comes On (Tighten Gas Cap) Then I Also Have A 1995 LT AWD Astro Van That Doesn't Even Need A Gas Cap! No Dash Lights, No Need For Wheel Bearings Or ABS Sensor Problems! No Windshield Washer Problems Other Than A Board That Gets Rosen Connections For Intermittent Wiper Delay. 7 Vans Went 300-500K Miles Before Rusting Out Needing Nothing But Window Motors\, Oil Changes And Grease. Unimaginable Is There Are People That Feel You Should Not Have The (Right To Fix) Your Stuff Unless You Buy A License That Allows You To Fix? Dealers Spend Billions To Prevent Your Ability To Fix Anything (Engineering) Date Codes Into Everything! Even Plastics! The Windshield Washer Hose Assembly Cost $38.00 But Subaru Charges $427.78 Now I Did Do That Repair Without A (License To Fix) So Maybe I Will Get A Fine From The Right To Clean Windows Burrow Of Massachusetts Of Violation? 2014 XT Forester 2.0 Uses No/Zero Oil At All With 127 Thousand Miles Between Changes But the 2.5ltr Subaru Engine Uses/Drinks 3-5 Quarts From Brand New Every 3K Miles! That's Fine For People That Care And Check The Oil But Most Got Free Replacement Engines That Are 2.5ltr Oil Sucking Same Engine! So Instead Of Saying Sorry To The Customers! @ the shaft rockers have lighter rockers, the gm race spec short travel lifters have less weight, the valves themselves are lighter than standard, the drift cam is a low shock dual profile. The blue beehive springs are more than capable. That combo spun to 9k with no float, keeping oil fed to it proved to be the issue. Resolved with a accusump and a boundry racing pump. Ended up putting a 6.0 crank back in and the dyno comparison between the two strokes and how the car drives is nuts. Basically the short stroke is a advantage if your gearing and vehicle weight are long and light. The hp stayed the same and the tourque developed earlier. Eseentially moved ve down 1500rpm.

In a pair of vice grips yes works great. The thick chisel gives alot more control because it wont catch

Try Berryman's Chemtool carb cleaner. Spray it on...let it sit about 30 seconds, hit it again....and then use a sharp putty knife. Peels off like butter.

the body may have been sprayed with spray putty , thats why its so thick

After really studying it ive found the paint separates between a sealer and a gray primer. Both are smooth as glass. No sanding scratches vissible. Maybe the sealer was sprayed to thick, to soon? Not sure. Could even be incompatible products

You're lucky to have found a Scout with enough body left to work with.

Yeah being asked to repaint a scout is a scary proposition. This one is on the scout scale a 7. When it was originally “saved” it was like 2.8!

I was gonna ask! Very cool. Love those old binders. Never clicked so fast when I saw it was an international. Cool trick too! I'll have to remember that if I run into a good situation for it. Sorta like how we take the letters off of the tow trucks when it's time to sell one. Heat gun and one of those eraser wheels works pretty good on vinyl letters that don't want to peel.

What cam did you end up using. I’m getting a c4 roller soon and I’m looking to do exactly this setup just fuel injected. Also if you have any social media platforms we could message on that would be a huge help.

@@guntherdadson5046 this combination is very difficult to pull off. The cam is comp cams 54-777-11. A stock 6.0 with good heads and that cam will do you well. Good for 400. Watch the dyno video and recent c4 content on my channel and check out @nextgenperformance. Find me on ig as jmpsavescars
