Great video Jamie, as always. Thank you. "We have existing systems to determine the helpfulness of content." I think you are you are eerily prescient in your observation regarding Google's statement there.
And when can/ should we expect a AI plugin that analyses plug-in conflicts (before they happen haha) and tells us exactly what to do (a kind of solve all now AI WP Gutenberg button?) AI prompt: Which plug-ins are in conflict on my website and why? And which one to prioritize or disable?
@@jamiewp Simple, just add the functionality into Wordpress, so you don't need so many plugins so much simple stuff isn't even in there. It's like the old IBM PC's days where you had a choice of many different types of equipment and there was always issues. Apple on the other hand controlled the hardware and it was so much more stable. Why don't people learn?
@@stuartmorley6338 well ....apple has an app store that is analogous to plugins. Wordpress.org doesn't control the hosting environment, but that's one of the best features of wordpress.org i.e decentralised hosting and control. If you want to give up that control then there are good solutions out there e.g shopify, wix
We use Uber Suggest and that has an AI Option, while in Beta it is amazing what it can do, very useful as an aid to content and a great starting point. AI is developing at a crazy speed.
Do I even bother trying to learn or buy a theme now-a-days? Someday perhaps we won't need to play hide and seek behind 3 little dots. I am tempted to downgrade from some paid themes to the free ones, to save precious revenue. We need more Chart-TABLES to show feature/benefit informations.
Wix. While frustrating to style with CSS, when settings don't provide an option, the drag and drop aspect of it is pretty cool, especially the snap to guides.

6:34 Wow, this was really well hidden! ;-) Looking forward to the detailed video on 6.2!
Great video. Thank you!
For a killer Header Builder, Gutenberg fans can simply work with Kadence Theme.
It's not an FSE 'block theme' but it's block friendly.
Yup quite a few classic themes have great header builders 👍

Now that would be something great 🤔
