That’s normal. It’s just hitting VTEC. Once you hit VTEC on a Honda lawnmower, you’re going to be done mowing your lawn in about 10 days instead of 10 minutes.
@@contraband1543 their equipment would last longer. Sometimes its worth to fix your own equipment, even if its a $120 push mower. If can repair or maintain it to make it last then youll save money.

That's how our lawnmower is because our Bradley lawnmower was way too low so I messed with the throttle spring and there's two holes and one hole is low RPM like idle and then can turn it off take the spring out move it to the other hall right next to it and then boom high RPM just like that so much better
How was it made worse? Thing was set incorrectly, hence the high rpm. Zero contextual understanding here. Running it like this would quickly blow the engine.
That is exactly what mine does I will be sure to check that out

What’s the 0-60 on one of those I’m considering using that mower for a go kart but I can’t find a VTEC lawn mower engine online? How do I get one?
@@zeropoint3518its probably about 3-4 weeks to get to 60.
There's a lost trade small engine repair and it's so straightforward
Yup just like vacuum, boot/shoe repair
If people wanted to pay for repairs then sure. Most people just go buy a new mower after their grass gets a foot tall.
Makes no damn sense

Mine was running too slow...you saved me! Thanks.
So what exactly did you do? I think mine is running too slow too.

Thanks

Just cleaned one of these last Thursday.run like a champ
Yah mind did that. But I had a air leak and also had to do a governor adjustment because previous owners had screwed with it
what is that small spring that was disconnected called?
@@andreyv1
throttle return spring
How many ccs
Mine has that spring on it and it still has really high rpm what do I do now I even adjusted the governor and that doesn’t do anything
Try cleaning the carburetor out
I'm in the same boat...cleaned carb and checked springs..but still incredibly high rpm's
Adjust your governor position

Move the governor spring to the other hole you see on the governor
Great tip, hope I find one with that problem at the curb one day!
Typically people run them til they pop when that type of thing happens

Bro just saved hours of work for me haha
My throttle governor keeps dancing.. How do I hit that same way?
He's correct.
Will it only do this high RPM thing after you fill it up with gas
No, only if the spring is knocked off the governor
VTEC..😂

I don't think there's a tank vent hose on these engines, there is a PCV hose coming from the crankcase though

Ive seen 50$ shitter mowers cut twice as long grass as that, as long as its not electric were in buidness
