Thanks for this tutorial. Very well done. I think you touched on every point. Everything you said in this video is something I apply in during matches.
I think one things worth mentioning is how busted the fireball feint. Id argue its just as important/equal to the use of sway
There are times where i made ppl panic by cancelling my block strings into feint fireball. To which I then reset the block string again and continue applying pressure.
There are interesting scenarios where you can do DR s.lp b.hk (first hit on block) into feint fireball for a tick throw
There are 2 in mind that I can think that can be used for tick throw scenarios as most will not be prepared for it
s.hp into feint fireball =-2 on block
This is less negative but has a bit of pushback
b.hk (first hit on block) into feint fireball = -5 on block
This is more negative but is point blank. Can be risky cuz its punishable but people will not be ready for it. assuming you condition them something else

for MAXIMUM damage after a blocked DP/super, instead of using 5HP > 4HK > OD sway, use DR > 5HP > 2HP > 2 MP > OD sway

53:18 You don't need to micro walk, you're actually in throw range after medium sobat, that's cheap.
If you counter hit someone with medium kick you can confirm into a buffered super one, maybe all supers actually

Super 2 is 11-12 frames, so no and level 3 has shit range so no again
@@BigJC777 but I a lot of times will drive rush medium kick and counter/punish hit into super 2 as well
DR > 5MK > level 1 is a real confirm

It’s difficult to confirm cr hp into the “ hey hey hey” 😅… jk Mura, amazing video as usual bro ..i played deejay for the first time yesterday and got to diamond 5 starts under 1 hour…and then i decided finally to watch your guide ..very good stuff 👊
Something I noticed about Dee Jay is that his combos are damaging but he still needs 3 touches to kill, like he can do 45% combo, 45% combo and then kill with the other 10%, and then other characters also does 3 touches like 3 times 35%, in basic I mean that Dee Jay needs 3 touches to kill like everyone else but he has advantage if he pokes you and then kill you with 2 touches, tho it balances with his bad poke game
The entire drive rush system is brain dead, reduces the entire game to "check the DR" if you can.
Dee Jay shld nvr be a charge character in the first place.
DJ's drive rush needs a nerf
his damage off 2 bars is crazy too
Nerf mentality is bad for gaming, also his dr is pretty short range it is just deceptive bc he moves backwards and then goes real fast forwards
@@eddieherndon1871 r u a DJ main? DJ is a nightmare to deal with. I think he has more plus frames on block than any character. he needs mild nerfs. I dont wanna see the character ruined, but he needs some tweaking.
@JoeG2324 doesn't he only have two? St.mp and f.mk. he still does mad damage though. Especially off an ex fireball. If that's spaced correctly, he can dish out easy 4.5k+ damage with lvl3.
