- Cheap Homesteading had The Beam Machine chainsaw mill for a long time and he never used it. He is going to talk about the simplest and quickest chainsaw mill. The Beam Machine is made buy Qwadra tools BC Canada. This is a unboxing video with out the box.
Pete I bought one of these years ago and it worked great. I got my alaskan mill and gave the beam machine to my friend. I recently bought like this but another brand when I bought my jon cutter chainsaw. I have yet to use the new one but expect it to work well. The Beam Machine is made better in my opinion. We put a beam in our Quonset Hut that my brother cut with a chain saw. I don't remember what he used, I'll have to ask him.

@@cheaphomesteading we are doing well. And yes it is a crazy busy time of year. I am also really busy with work. I started doing another job and that is keeping me from doing so of the homesteading things. I plan on planting my starts tomorrow. If this doesn't happen I will need to buy some of my plants already started.
Man what LUCK. I just picked one of the original Beam Machines up today from an old guy who said he had it for 50 years. It is in great shape and must be a prototype and reads "The Beam Machine by Bushpilot Stove Designs Inc. Quathiaski Cove B.C. Patent Pending.

as you rotate the blade it moves in and out because its threded it has spikes it wont slide theres better ones same price

Man I can not find the brand that you are using for that beam cutter. There are knock offs out there but a lot of complaints about them loosening up on the bar mounts due to the ends of the bolts being smooth where they contact the bar. Any suggestions?
I would change the lock bolts that clamp it to the bar to square head set screws. they have a round sharp edge at the end that digs into the bar and it won’t move as much. Most farm machinery repair shops sell them they lock gears the shaft. Thanks for watching

Update... actually was able to find exact item you used. Beam Machine. Looks like it comes with square head but not sure if it has pointed ends. Thanks for your help.

They sell them on eBay but there is Chinese copies of them on Amazon just search chainsaw mill and just scroll through you should be able to find one. Have a great day man
