- Myles Garrett is a fantastic football player but he makes no sense for the Rams. Here's my reasoning behind why I would avoid a Myles Garrett trade at all cost.

I agree 10 billion percent. Getting Myles would just be for luxury and that’s it. We have young cost effective studs no need to bring in a cap killer in myles

There is no viable argument for acquiring Myles Garrett and it is absent of any legitimate reasons in several ways to mortgage the future for an unnecessary player. Rams need serious help on the offense in several key positions!
I can see why Myles would be awesome. I like Young, but sometimes he does disappear. But I feel we have more needs in other areas of our defense like CB and LB. Give our front line more time to get to the QB.
On the one hand, since there was no salary cap, the Rams brought in All-Pro Roosevelt Grier from the Giants. He was the veteran that the youngsters Lamar Lundy, Merlin Olsen and Deacon Jones needed to teach them how to play in the NFL. That's when they became The Fearsome Foursome.
Enough is the bargain basement. This is la. They need Stars.

They don't need another DEFENSIVE front guy, I mean, I get it from a logistics perspective but the cost is WAY too high and the offense needs help, especially the O-line.
Man Jake it's easy to lust after Garrett because he is a generational talent but you're right it's a luxury pick. The only I don't want is for the Rams to have to face him twice a year for 3 to 5 years

Garret isn't a need, of course he would be nice but he doesn't address our needs! We need more depth at O-line hopefully so we can survive injuries or even rotate and give guys a break, TE depending on Higbee's fitness or looking towards a future without Higbee, Maybe a WR if Kupp does leave ( I hope we re-negotiate his contract to keep him ) or Mcvey just spot's something special in the draft that everyones missing. , on defence LB , Safety/Corner , only the Eagles have drafted better and have been more stacked than us all round.
If he goes to another contender it could hurt us even more.
Gotta sign cheap players. That yoing D line is going to need contracts, save the cap space to keep the 4 of them
I would love to see us get Garrett Wilson, Nick Bolton, Ronnie Stanley and Ward. Bring back at least Ahkello, Hoecth, Tutu and J. Johnson and have another get draft. That's a guarantee super bowl win
The Rams D really needs a do it ALL ILB. Last season and next season teams will dink and dunk their way downfield because they knew/know the rush was/is coming. So I agree, Jake. A #1 cb would be 2nd on my list, then although I like Bobby Brown and Tyler Davis, another NT/5T/3T.

Males Garrett is a generational talent. But not worth mortgaging the future for. ESPECIALLY considering he's not even a team need.
If Garrett had been playing for the Rams Would the defense have not been giving up all those yards on the ground? NO. Would average point scored per game have gone up a lot? NO.
You fix that with linebackers not pass rushers

When you have to hand over that bit of a contract to garrett , what do you think that does somebody like Verse? What If someone like verse Has just as strong of a season? He is going to be screaming for an extension match ing the same money. Even if His season is not quite a strong.He will still be screaming for it , Same with one or two of the others.
Jake how about his. How many super bowls will the Rams get to if Garrett goes to the Eagles or Niners. I will tell you. ZERO. They will get killed by both of those teams.
No way on Garrett. The Rams have an outstanding DL as it is and it will get better. Let somebody else give up two firsts and a good player. Not to mention that Garrett is going to be a huge $$$ number. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

It makes all the sense in the world considering he is the e best defensive player in football. They would have the best pass rush in years. He would make them into the best defense in football and u keep him away from other team in the NFC where the browns will trade him for sure.
We should invest in a good Offensive Line given that 1. Our Defensive Line is already good at pass rushing. 2. Stafford is an immobile QB.
Resign Robinson and sign like a Amari Cooper with Robinson Puka Copper and Wittington would be good enough. U have that defense will out u over the top.
Could young play the" Will " linebacker in the 3/4
while it would be nice to have him, financially it make ZERO sense. buyer beware

Rams need Dre Greenlaw or Micah Parsons at linebacker, Ward good pickup for secondary, cut kendrick, Rosebloom draft a DL run stopper, Rams don't even consider Garrett, keep Stafford try to get Penn States TE Warren, trade kupp,higbee for draft picks and WRs wilson,higgins are out there or Draft WRs and OL
