As a huge browns fan that left that void of death and despair in week 4 of 2024, and got adopted by the Bills Mafia...there's no place I'd rather see 95 go. And honestly no one else deserves him
Sounds like he listened to Amari Cooper's interview. Come here, hang out with good people who value you, have joy, win championships. Bills Mafia will take you and love you unconditionally.
Garrett is the type of player on defense that can swing the balance in the bills favor. Example being Chris Jones and his impact in critical games for the chiefs. We need a dude like that.
Exactly 💯 Garett would make life on Mahomes, Burrow and Lamar far more difficult. That along with a starting level safety, a CB who is good in man coverage plus a speedy WR makes the Bills the best team in the NFL
Dude would be a BEAST in Buffalo. Buffalo native here in Cleveland the past 28 years, and I said this two months ago when he signaled that he wanted to be with a contender and get out of the dumpster fire here. I think he'd like to be in Buffalo too. I'd definitely look into it if I was Beane.
That’s what I’m talking about, Josh Allen will always get you to the playoffs, isn’t that what we’re doing anyway, go for it, do what the rams did. Then figure it out later.
Josh Allen, Ed Oliver, Greg Rousseau, Tremaine Edmunds, Dalton Kincaid, Kair Elam… That’s Beane’s 1st round history. You’re a complete loser if you consider this as “Beane can’t draft in the 1st round”…
Cleveland keeps saying they're not trading Garrett, but he has one year left on his current contract. So, after this season he just signs with another team and the Browns are left with nothing. Actually, if the Bills cut Miller, they would have the cap space. Beane is good at this stuff not drafting WR's but this stuff.
I was livid when we didn’t trade for him during the season. Once the trading door closed, I knew we would be in trouble during the playoffs. We now have a second chance. BBB, don’t screw this up!!
The point about Garrett elevating everyone else on the defense is so important! Taking time away from the quarterback is the missing ingredient in the McDermott scheme, especially with our secondary and linebackers not being the fastest athletes in coverage.
It’s hard to imagine what I wouldn’t give up for this. If the only way to make it happen was three #1s I’d go ahead and pull the trigger. Three 1st round picks in the 20s isn’t too high of a price.
Bills need #1 receiver more than they need a Great DE playing the soft McDermott zone that gives up over 30points in Divisional and AFC Championship games. There are two current WR prospects around the 30 pick range, that would benefit the Bills more and the Offense can blow teams away even without Garrett. But he is the Best Defensive player in the game today, no question.
Doesn't excite me. Only shows that the Bills struggle in their ability to draft and develop an end. Maybe there is a deal that makes sense for this 29-year-old player, but please don't give up the farm or set yourself up for another Von Miller type contract. First, get a proper young 1-tech so Oliver can play his game.
I love this video, Joe. I would LOVE to see Mylee Garrett come to Buffalo! After the AFC Championship game, I had to take a mental break. THIS news, or rather the potential of this, has gotten me out of post loss depression. Go Bills
Me also thinks Bruce Smith, who HIGHLY touted Garrett as a number one draft choice and in college, would put a bug in his ear, regardless of what minimal effect that would "logically" have. He'd be amazing here in Buffalo.
If the Bills aren't working the phones right now, if they aren't in the mix and ready to go on March 12th, they aren't being aggressive enough. He's literally the dream player you want on your defensive line. He's 29 yes, but he's gonna be a DPOY contender for the next several years barring a major injury. The Bills haven't had a true defensive game wrecker in so long. This is that guy. This is the difference maker who can get you where you want to go, and it'd be a dramatic help to the secondary as well. More pass rush threat, less time to throw, less time to spend in coverage for our dbs. Beane needs to show us that he's at the very least interested in making this happen. Even if it falls through, as long as we were TRYING to make it happen, I won't be disappointed.
Great job, Joe love listening to this pocaat. this is who I wanted over crosby. . Not knowing he was available. Hopefully It works out for us. Truly appreciate all you do. You do it well.
I think he would significantly upgrade our defense but I don't want to give up that much assets I think we should go with second tier help and draft wisely
A lot of people aren't going to like this, but... When the Bears traded Khalil Mack to the Raiders in 2018 it was for 2 first round picks, a third and a sixth. I don't know if I want to trade that away for a 29 year-old who could, theoretically, tear and ACL or blow out his Achilles in week 3. A first and a second is a lot different, I just don't know if that will do it. The Browns are in the driver's seat and know they can push the outside of the envelope. Von Miller's Bills story is a cautionary one.
There’s always risk of injury for sure… but Von was 33 and mostly past his prime when we got him, Myles is right in the midst of his domination era still. Hopefully it doesn’t cost more than two 1st rounders…
For Andrew Barry to say that would do ot for me also. The gm doesn't even sound like he's convinced they'll ever win, thats a moral killer for your players.
The best thing Buffalo has right now is the 2 2nd's. A trade offering {2025: 1st, 2nd (Texans), + 4th (Bears) 2026: 2nd} would give Cleveland a lot of fire power to trade up and help really begin a rebuild. Using the draft pick value chart picks: 30, 33, and 56 would be enough for a top 10 draft pick, or the 30th and 33rd pick would be enough get into the top 15.
I totally agree. We would be incremently better on defense across the board. Personally I think it's going to take this year and next year's first round picks and maybe a second next year or this year. Or the first and second and a couple later round picks this year and a second next. He's good but not so good we have to screw ourselves for years to come. I wonder if Maxx Crosby mite be a cheaper trade to make with almost the same impact to the defense without mortgaging the house
He has no idea what he’s talking about bro lol stop letting these RUclipsrs sell you hope they are not qualified to speak on 75 percent of the stuff they talk about
I feel like we have the Team and we need him to push this group further the same thing that Amari did for us as well. I say so what you have to do we need a player like this. Not only is he amazing but he seems to have values and morals which sums up the Bills he's another PC. Of this puzzle GO BILLS!!!
Definitely a guy I’d sell the farm for. You’re almost certainly giving up two 1’s and a starting caliber player. One thing going against us those 1’s are in the very bottom of the draft. If I’m Cleveland I could probably get better.
100% agree with you Joe. Beane needs to do this! A 1, 3, and Elam. Would Von go to practice squad to remain a Bills? Hyde did it. Or two 1's, Elam, and Anderson. There IS a way and this is EXACTLY the person we need. Like you said, "Everyone gets better." With Garret we are Super Bowl contenders. This is OUR TIME!!
Although players like Garrett and Crosby would be a big asset to any team, and would love for the bills to have either one of them. But, they wouldn’t feel like a part of the team… my belief of a great organization, which proves their minds are football geniuses, is to build and get the players through the draft… this makes for true continuity. The Bills have that. It’s easy just to buy a team ….. it’s the camaraderie, that creates dynasties …I felt same way when they signed Miller
He’s a true game changer who wrecks even the best offensive game plans. That’s what the Chiefs have in Chris Jones and McDuffi. Myles Garrett as a Buffalo bill along with a better safety, CB and a speedy WR makes Buffalo the best team in the NFL.
I'd be interested to hear whom you think our main "competition" for him would be? My thoughts immediately went to the Bengals. Powerhouse offense with a garbage defense. I don’t care what it cost I been wanting this since the trade deadline! We haven’t done well with first round picks except for when we have traded for a player! Remember the last time the Bills traded a first round? They got Digs ! Make it Happen Beane !
Thank you Joe, and I would do whatever it takes. In reason, but let’s do everything we can while we got Allen, we no what it looks like without him. And will those draft picks really matter in the next few years, I doubt it, I think history shows that.
Well first, Beane is not a coach. And there's literally no data that supports your claim. They're a top 5 regime/football operation full stop. A move for Garrett would be huge and adding a big ass 1 tech in the 2nd this year would elevate the defense big time. Get another athlete at both CB and safety and a boundary field stretcher at WR. They've got the draft capital to do it. They lost by 3 on the road despite losing their best CB a few min into the game and the refs stacking the deck against them on top. Just need to tweak the formula a bit and get a game wrecker on the DL like Garrett. Everyone else is elevated by that move.
Would I rather have Garrett or a late first rd cornerback and late second rd edge or interior upgrade...Yeah I guess a 1 and 2 is automatic, I would do it. We'll see how the rest of the offseason goes, but our other 2nd round pick would likely need to be a CB or S capable of starting out of the gates.
What a great idea trade the next ten years for the next two brilliant 👏🏼 . Myles Garrett is a greatest player, but let's not through the future away on a single person. ( Von Miller)
Can't trade Von. Gotta cut him. They don't have the cap space to take back salary anyway. They'll designate him as a post June 1 guy and that will open up a lot of cap space.
If we can get him for a great price, fantastic. If we're giving up 3 or 4 early round picks, it's not worth it. Better to use all our draft picks on defensive players, mostly linemen, and take our chances there.
For the right price .... Nothing that has us losing picks.... Id do swap our 1st this year for their 3rd this year.... and our 1st next year for their 2nd next year id rather Maxx Crosby
I thought id have to wait till tomorrow to hear about the possibility of us getting him, but joe came through! Thanks Joe!
This level of responsiveness is what separates Joe!

You added winning championships , as if that's a regular occurrence in Buffalo😂
@@bentientcheu1853😂😂😂😂. I know right. They won't make it past the conference championship with McDermott as HC.
I hope coop can get in his ear as they're former teammates and tell him how much he liked it in buffalo
Good point. I didn't think about that.
As soon as I saw Garrett requested a trade I couldn't wait to hear Joe's thoughts. Thanks for getting to it so quick!
Rousseau and Oliver would flourish under this D line.
Likely gon have to move off Rousseau if they were able to make it happen though.

Maybe not, there’s a lot can be done in with signing bonuses and restructuring
