At 7:40 you say if the left lane is blocked I can move into the right lane with MSM, will I be penalised for staying in the left lane just to reduce my chance of making mistakes, even if it takes more time?

In this video Hgv lorry is holding the left lane Hgv stay slow on 60 on dual carriage and you need to make progress and don't want to block your view ahead in this situation you can overtake. But if you don't do it as a learner you can make mistakes for not making progress depending on the situation and the examiner might be serious or minor. Look for the situation and adopt driving.

Hi could i ask during the test can we drive 70 because my instructor said to me during the test drive just 50

You better drive with the road conditions traffic conditions
If road is totally empty and safe and to drive you drive up til to the limit or at least a try for it.
50-70 between on left lane look reasonable progress from learner side.
