WinCC C Script - Get Tag Bit Function | PCS7 Training

Scripting - both in C language and VB is the integral part of SIMATIC PCS7 and WinCC Scada. It is the very powerful tool to unlock the immense capabilities of PCS7 DCS.
Its library has hundreds of functions. In this video i have explained the very basic function i.e GetTagBit. Using this function, any bit from PLC logic or hardware can be manipulated. After reading any digital bit, we can trigger events based on our choice.
The video has the demo of displaying certain text on the HMI while looking at the tag status.

wait for a while and logs will appear.
