    Dope video. Just an FYI, if you add a chord track to your project and put it in the key of the song, You can change the color code in Variaudio to “chord” instead of “Pitch” then the notes that are not in key will be red. Makes it much easier to quickly see what notes are off

    I also find VariAudio super helpful. Especially now that you have the Smart Controls and you can set the range you want to edit.

    I usually enjoy your videos but have you ever thought that just maybe adding explicit lyrics to songs isn’t cool? I don’t think I’ve ever heard a song that explicit lyrics has made better.

    • @MakePopMusic
      @MakePopMusic  4 года назад +1

      I enjoy explicit lyrics.

    • @Brian-Cherry
      @Brian-Cherry 4 года назад

      I’m sorry you seem to be taking some offence to my comment. It was actually a serious question. I went to a Demi Lovato gig a few years ago where she sung a song called Lonely. I had heard the song a few times, which was a non explicit version. When I heard the original version I was quite frankly shocked. Believe me I am no prude but this language was not suitable to the majority of the audience. I now go back to my original comment. The original version was not as good as the non explicit version so why add words that can’t be played to your full fan base?
      I really do wish to find out the thought process that the composer goes through when they add such lyrics.

    • @MakePopMusic
      @MakePopMusic  4 года назад +3

      @@Brian-Cherry I'm not offended. I just answered the question. I swear in songs because I like it. I like saying what's on my mind and writing like I speak, rather than censoring myself because I think people don't want to hear cursing. I think it sounds really corny when there is a clear edit in the lyrics where something explicit would've had an impact, made more sense, or just fit better, and they change it to something clean and wash the line out. Some artists don't swear and it wouldn't even fit in their sound, image, or writing style if they did. Some swear a ton and if they cut it out, it would be weird, corny, and forced.
