i love that song because it explains, in a symbolic way obviously, how fame exerts such a pressure onto people that they end up masking their true identities and suffering from great levels of stress that, in the case of the female celebrities mentioned in the song, end up driving them to their death. I love how Gaga sort of joins these community of judged, misunderstood females and somehow states that together they will fight the lies and judgement that surround them and live as their true selves and express their own talent, even if nobody else gets to see it; that is, even if it is while they're dancing in the dark. Gaga has said that she is really fascinated by the art of the dark, which is why the fame monster is such an intriguing album to me. I know I'm three years late haha, but I hope my comment is useful
That Cooking with GaGa bit, she played it so straight it was funny watching the host trying to joke. Beating the meat with a sturdy pan against a round board with a groove for the blood seemed like a great trick. Meat gets flattened to a quite even thickness and will fit right in the pan for fast cooking. Oh and that synchronized period thing is a known scientific phenomenon when women live close together.
She is pretty smart with questions of her love life, she doesn’t answer but she doesn’t dissatisfy the person either. But she doesn’t even need to tell us in the first place. She is just such an angel, I love her 💖
