You, Elias, and Fishaholic are all the best anglers in the north east, but when you guys make videos together like this, its even better. Good job guys!
Thanks for another great video, including place, date and time.. Hope you make money and get sponsorship because you have taught me a lot about fishing on the east coast.
Excellent video man! Love these longer ones where you just keep nailing 'em! Keep up the good work brotha, would love to link up with you sometime to do some fishing. I've noticed in a few of you're previous videos you've been down to my hometown of Cape May.. Let's link up sometime man!
I see you launched at floyd bennet field . Next time you're out there drift the the red RC Bouy alot of bass action over there expessically during the spring on bunker chunks. You will also slam the weakfish over there using sandworms or bloodworms. Tight lines !!
Awesome video as usual. Weakfish has been on my bucket list for a long time, glad to see more being caught and released. Oh btw you said Elias "5" fishing in the beginning of your vid but it's actually Elias V Fishing as in Elias Vaisberg. Lol. Sorry to correct you.
if you would use a rapala knot or a swivel, your bait would move quit more atractive, a swivel also allowes you to change your jig easy and quick. and i would use a shorter fluoro leader, 3 feet are easy enough to protect the mainline, if you don`t fish vertical, i would recommend a thicker leader, with this you increase the sinking time after jigging and this is the time when 90% of bites will come, have you tried a dead rod from kayak, without a big drift this might be a great opportunite to get a thew " jokerfish" . greetings from Europe :) Nice videos !
wow great video I used to cache weak fish in Delaware Bay there no were to be found now I don't get how fish disappear they were there for years you really have skill bro
the weakfish numbers are still, and always will be awesome. they just don't keep going to the same spots year after year. you can always find them in warm shallow waters in the atlantic ocean. always look for structure. fish for them like you would sea bass but in shallow water, between 20ft. to 60ft. you will always catch some in Jamaica bay though!!! use sand worms for bait, and if you want to use artificials, jig for them using SPRO bucktails with a trailer{preferably some kind of gulp}. make sure you mark structure on your fishfinder, and then set the waypoints, GOOD FISHING!!!!!
Awesome video..I'm ori6from NJ also but live now in Savannah Georgia..love the custom rod.woyld love to get one made for me..how can I get in touch with the guy who made yours?
I've been looking at getting a lighter/longer rod for doing my sea fishing. I have a 7ft ugly stick which is nice but can be very heavy and I can't hardly get the reach I need. I had looked at 3 rods with in my budget that I like all in 10ft model, Penn, Lamiglas, and St. croix. Between the 3 which in your opinion is the best mix of balance, action, reach, power, and weight? I do have a reel a Shimano Socorro SW10000, so I think I'm good there.
LINDA HUGHES Looking at either www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4028878&cp=4406646.4425420.21212536.21212566&categoryId=21212856 or www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=103565496 I like them both, but not sure which would be the better option. both are about the same price, but as far as quality I am a little unsure.
Can you give an honest review on Pompano Bay rods? They barely have any info on their website and i cannot find reviews anywhere. How do you like yours?
Don't you guys ever catch sea robin bouncing it along the bottom? Whenever I go bottom fishing those things are 90% of what I catch. Any tips on how to avoid them? They are extremely annoying when trying to catch flounder. Thanks in advance.
mine is a hobie revolution 13 from 2010. All I can find online is links for new ones, just a warning, the cheapest you'll find a hobie for is 800-900$ and finding one under 1000$ is tough. Outbacks are also good. The peddle kayaks are very expensive unfortunately.
Yes they are! They're more commonly known as Speckled Trout where I live (Florida/ Gulf Of Mexico). They are really good eating. It's always a delight to catch a legal one.
+7citiesfishing well I've never caught a weak fish or even know what one looks like so when he was catching "weakfish" I thought it was just a different name for the Speckled Trout. Not anything changed cosmetically I assumed.
pompano bay, i think it is in florida, i was there a couple month ago, that is where all the fishing fever started, an eldery man took 30min of his life to teach me how to fish
Sea-money can you say where you parked and launched from,, I have never fished J Bay but I have looked at the map 100 times so could you at least say if this is north east or south, I know it ain;t west
Great time, and man this guy can work a jig! He is legit! "Segunda Truta!"

Nice video! what is the line and lure rating on that rod? I'm going to get in touch with Pompano Bay
I love all your videos
how did u mount your transducer? I'm getting my first yak and I was thinking about the transducer arm
i thought in nyc the size for flounder is 16in? but if you get a keeper thats like 16 or 17 inches, then go to new jersey, would that be illegal?
Awesome video..I'm ori6from NJ also but live now in Savannah Georgia..love the custom rod.woyld love to get one made for me..how can I get in touch with the guy who made yours?
Same thing as Speckled Trout we catch in the gulf? South Louisiana
same fish just different colors pretty much
No, they are very similar but they get a lot bigger then our speckled sea trout.
Hey nice video! Where do you think is the best place to fish in New Jersey?
thanks, best place to fish is wherever the most fish are! haha
Great video, tight lines!

Dan Stephens make sure you get st croix I only fish using there rods and they never disappoint there are literally amazing you won't regret it on god

good fishing season is here!
Can you give an honest review on Pompano Bay rods? They barely have any info on their website and i cannot find reviews anywhere. How do you like yours?
It looks like the only difference between this jigging and fluke jigging is that your don't twitch it as often, would you say that's true?
I've watched nearly all your videos. You need to hurry up and make more!

Weakfish look a lot like Corvina out on the west coast.
in Florida there know as speckled trout
No, these are a different type of fish more northern.

Maan, you should've taken that trout home and smothered it in hot peppers and shrimp, the Portuguese way. A little rice on the side.
sick stuff
Well, looks like I'm going to go buy some pink flukes..
hahahaha... its "Truta", not "Punta".
We don't have Stripers in Brazil. Maybe in Portugal, dont know.
Flounder: Linguado
Bluefish: Anchova
Very interesting video. Hey, are them weakfish good eating? Nice looking fish.
Yes they are! They're more commonly known as Speckled Trout where I live (Florida/ Gulf Of Mexico). They are really good eating. It's always a delight to catch a legal one.
+Aden Barksdale weakfish are different from specks (sea trout)
+7citiesfishing well I've never caught a weak fish or even know what one looks like so when he was catching "weakfish" I thought it was just a different name for the Speckled Trout. Not anything changed cosmetically I assumed.
pompano bay, i think it is in florida, i was there a couple month ago, that is where all the fishing fever started, an eldery man took 30min of his life to teach me how to fish

5 different types of fish were caught.
You should pond fish
Isn't that a trout?
Nope. Weakfish, different species
Do you mean the spotted sea trout? The first fish he caught?
Nice to see you use less hooks..safer for you and the fish.
That blue would have been good shark bait.

they're my favorite for shark bait
+7citiesfishing ^^^ tru
1rod1reel would of called those 10lb bass.
