OK, I'm not sure how easy it is for you to get redcat parts, but kaiju arms will drastically improve its durability. Also arrma 5mmx50 turnbuckles for the camber and 5mmx65 for the steering toe links will end the turnbuckle bending nightmare. Redcat kaiju f&r hubs and front hub carriers (c-hubs) will also be a noticeable improvement on durability. All above listed mods I have videos on showcasing the improved durability. Infact, these modifications made it so reliable, that it consistently out lives my kraton exb. See my videos for documented proof of this claim.
Yeah. Not a lot is needed to make this an excellent rig. I prefer my MT8 to other vehicles including Outcast V2. Kaiju it from the wheels in - the central core is excellent. Just the wheel hubs and arms. Cheap bits even when imported from states. 🇬🇧
Another great vid, and I feel you pain my maverick quantum flux has taught me alot on how to fix an rc car but its more trouble than it's worth. The amount of diff casings I've cracked the list just goes on ,thinking of getting a db8 as a fire team is to expensive, what's your thoughts, cheers
I’ve just fixed the fireteam (power button broke) I’m planning to take the two out together at the weekend. But my first impressions are it’s a lot cheaper and not a lot worse.
Hmmm ok so first off I have not tested this rc, not owned it, I have the mt10 , I have kept tabs on it in case changes were made to it, but so far I don't think it has changes from factory made to it, I think it seems to be more of a wide open full beans runner, not a jumper really, but as strange as it seems it's more of a speed mt?!?! Like the red cat kague v2
How can they make an excellent 1/10 but a poor 1/8 version? It reminds me of Rover cars of the 90's, they took reliable Honda designs and managed to make them unreliable then went bust a few years later!
Indeed the mt10 is the toughest truck I’ve smashed mine everywhere and only broke 1 suspension arm. I just wish they’d made this the same as I do like it.
Bro, you are underrated! Subscribed!
Bad luck Ben, hope it's fixed now. Have to admit though I did lol at your perfect comic timing "Oh dear. And there it is broke." 🤣
Awesome video my friend 🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍
best run bro🤩

i love skate parks...but hard landing

Same here, I am always afraid to break it when I take it out

Use redcat kaiju arms. Way more flexible but same arms otherwise. Don't hold your breath waiting for rpm.

Yes it’s got the speed just a shame they didn’t make it stronger the mt10 is a tank.
Do u have trouble with steering not staying central slightest we tap
Yes I do not looked into why but I will if I can get it to run long enough.
@@noobrccars4392 I no feeling, I have mt10 aswell and its mighty compared to mt8
C the turn buckles u bought arrma ones, I've done this m4 45 ml very loose to tread in, mine silver tho
I saw someone say use m5 ones but I couldn’t get them to go in but yes the m4 ones are a bit loose.
Did m4 ones pull out? Or still going well?
Hello dude I think I’ve asked you this before .. What’s the best basher for around £300? I’ve destroyed my ftx and want a new toy. Cheers. Joe.
I’d probably say the rival mt10 it’s a tank.👍

Thanks for the quick reply mate all the best. Joe

😂 yep totally agree that k series engine on the 214 was awesome if you like changing head gaskets.🤣
A weak car is a weak car. That's the bottom line. You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear.
Sadly I think your right such a shame though it had such promise.
That didn't take much to break 🙄
My daughter has beaten the crap out of her mt10 for months with no issues lol 😂
