I know this video is not about this but I am in an Interpreting Program, and I just wanted you guys to know that I love your videos. You both are so awesome. I remember when I first started watching your videos I could not understand anything without the voice over and now I don't need it but I use it to double check my receptive skills. Good job on not giving up. It inspires me to not give up. My program is getting tough and I am hitting midterms now. I want to give up but I have come so far. Thank you both!
I just found your channel a couple days ago and I've just been binge watching all your videos. I'm a senior in high school and I plan on becoming an interpreter and I love love love your guys' videos! My parents are both lesbians and I remember going through a very similar court situation. They never got legally married, but my other mom had to claim me as her son and it was a hassle to even get that far. So glad you ended up getting your license!
[Jill] Haha that's crazy you are watching so many of our videos. Good luck on your senior year! Thanks, we are glad we got it too. Sorry, your moms had to go through icky court stuff. Hope one day none of this happens anymore. :)
I'm so glad you were able to get your license. I am a white man married to a black woman living in Northern Virginia. I hope you are familiar with the Loving vs Va case. It made interracial marriage legal in all 50 states. It was also used as a precedent in getting Same Sex Marriage legalized.
[Jill] Thank you, yes I am familiar with the Loving vs. Virginia case. That is wonderful that the rights of human beings won and that it could set a great precedent for future people. :)
Has this become what you called the Stews Life channel? I watched another video that said you were splitting the channel. I wanted to learn a little more about you in addition to consuming your ASL content.
Yes all our ASL content for daily life stuff is here (but older). We have a different channel just "The Stews" for our educational information on our older ASL Stew videos.
That was quite the story, had me laughing out loud! Can't wait to see those other stories!
[Jill] Thanks lol

[Jill] Thank you. That's great you are not having to rely on the voice anymore. Good luck on your schooling. Don't give up! You can do it! :)

Translated moral of the story: Don't mess with us, #leswin! Way to go and to fight for what you deserve and legally have the right to obtain!
[Jill] LOL yes #leswin!

[Jill] I'm sorry I don't understand your question.
Hey Jill and Jenna, do you two have sign names? Do you use them? I've never seen it in your videos.
[Jill] Yes I have a sign name and say it in the beginning of most newer videos. Jenna does not have a sign name.

[Jenna] Not really. We didn't go anywhere fancy or exotic. Just spend several days together.
