Restoring a Stanley No 6 Hand Plane

After getting the base of the Stanley No 6 hand plane finished a couple weeks ago i get working on the rest of the plane, including making a new tote.

You could have raised the evaporust level by displacing some of the solution with a can filled with water, tennis balls, loose change. Really anything that wouldn't absorb.

It's by Lee valley I believe. If you Google stanley no 5 tote something should come up.
