"I met so many beautiful people. So many beautiful people. How priceless is that?" RIP Petrozza. A brilliant chef and a brilliant man from start to finish.
17:28 Minor detail but I just love how quickly Christina answer's Gordon's questions, and saying nothing but the answer that Gordon wants (no "I would have to say ___" etc, she says nothing but the answer). It shows that she can process the information and provide him with an answer quickly which is an extremely valuable skill. Also shows a higher level of professionalism. I also like how she says "I don't believe so" because it shows self confidence but also humility since she acknowledges the possibility that she is wrong. Christina was always very professional and assuring/validating her teammates. Even when she sent Jen up for elimination, she gave Jen a little "good luck" smile and when Corey was eliminated she hugged her and said she was going to pick her for her team
While I do agree that Petrozza (may he Rest In Peace) should’ve won, I can get behind his choice on choosing Christina as the winner. While Petrozza was an amazing chef and competitor, he was also 47 at the time and had a bunch of experience. Christina was younger and while she was less experienced, she managed to fight through and prove her teammates wrong and show her leadership and cooking skills. So while I felt like Petrozza still should’ve won, I completely respect Gordon’s decision.
I love how when Christina gets emotional that first time she was nominated for elimination, Matt was one of the people laughing at her as if he was all that much better.
@FullTimeSlacker I don't think Autumn is a bad chef, she just got nominated many times because her teammates can't stand her just like these ladies on this season wanted to get rid of Christina.
What a top two. I can't imagine how hard that would've been for GR to pick that! Christina was a really talented young chef, and Petrozza was just... I mean, nothing i can say that hasn't already been said Extremely belated congratulations, Christina Rest in peace Petrozza; you were a great man and everyone could see it. During this season, I always had a feeling Jen would meltdown, explode, and get kicked out mid-service. I would not have thought it'd be so much later.
my least favorite to favorite contestants from this season: 15: Jason, for obvious reasons 14: Jen, she just annoyed me a lot, she was pretty funny a couple times but it was more annoying than funny a lot of the time, not nearly as bad as some of my least favorites from other seasons however 13: Ben, the excuses were limitless and he tried to play the game without having the essential key thing needed to win the game, the ability to cook 12: Sharon, she was just a dumb blonde and was painful to watch 11: Craig, he would be worse than sharon but he delivered one of the best lines in hells kitchen history so i had to boost him a spot 10: Dominick, didnt really see, well any of him but he looked and sounded like a muppet so thats cool i guess 9: Vanessa, she cried more than christina if thats even possible and gave up after a burn, not the worst but she was pretty eh 8: Rosann, she was a good person but it was so freaking painful to watch her cook, i like her but with her shit cooking skills this is about as high as i can put her 7: Shayna, the definition of an average contestant, didnt do anything to make me dislike her, also didnt do anything to make me like her 6: Matt, i actually found matt hilarious despite most ppl not liking him very much, his craziness and face that looked like he was about to cry at any moment was comical, and i enjoyed him more than i shouldve 5: Corey, she did have her snake like moments where i didnt really like her but she actually grew on me a lot, and by the time she was about to be eliminated she had actually stopped a lot of her antics and became pretty good friends with everyone left instead of being the person she was before the black jackets, so her growth and also her strong talents in the kitchen land her here 4: Louross, i really liked louross, he was a likeable dude, one u can root for, and he was pretty funny too, only reason i cant put him any higher is bc he wasnt the best cook but i liked him a lot 3: Christina, so yes she was a huge crybaby but she was actually pretty entertaining to watch in the kitchen and she had a lot of good moments to go alongside her bad ones, she was sort of the underdog that came with next to nothing to win type of story, and i enjoy that story every now and again, although obviously i wouldve rather she came second place 2: Bobby, a super fun loving, geniune guy, extremely fun to watch progress through the show, and a strong cook as well, his nature just puts a smile on ur face watching him, and i think he was a stronger cook than jen who happened to have one bad performance at the wrong time, and he even handled his defeat extremely well for someone as cocky as he appeared to be at the very beginning of the season, honestly he wouldve been my number 1 if he was in a different season, but unfortunately for him his competition for this spot is simply too good 1: Petrozza, maybe my favorite hells kitchen contestant ever, wouldve given up on the second or third episode i forget if not for bobby, went on to go runner up and honestly shouldve won, maybe the biggest robbery in the history of the show, literally nobody disliked him, hence why he was never put up by anyone except HIMSELF, bc he didnt want to nominate any of his hardworking teammates, if u dont know why this man was just a gift to this world just look how he reacts after he came runner up, a true masterclass in sportsmanship, and by far the best handled loss in the history of the show, there is absolutely nobody who could possibly dislike this man, except if u are like a satanic worshipper or something, but no seriously, petrozza is the best dont know why i decided to do this but i did, if u read it all ur a goat, cheers
Jason was lazy and a sexist, because he made a sexist comment to vanessa after being eliminated and also vanessa is not a cry baby, if you had a burn you would lose confidence too, so i disagree on that Vanessa part.
In the second elimination, you could tell he didn’t care for Corey’s nominations because she picked both purely out of personal reasons. Gordon cares about if they lack cooking skill or are a detriment to the team, not about your own personal motives.
And another favorite season, I actually do love when Gordon places the decision of elimination onto someone else. It's a great test that shows leadership and the ability to see the potential or lack-there-of in someone. He definitely saw the potential in Petrozza and Christina.

Those of you that dont know, Louis Petrozza passed away earlier this november. Bless his family and himself as well. Rest in peace.

Yes
Same
Agreed
While I do agree that Petrozza (may he Rest In Peace) should’ve won, I can get behind his choice on choosing Christina as the winner. While Petrozza was an amazing chef and competitor, he was also 47 at the time and had a bunch of experience. Christina was younger and while she was less experienced, she managed to fight through and prove her teammates wrong and show her leadership and cooking skills. So while I felt like Petrozza still should’ve won, I completely respect Gordon’s decision.
Ryan Rocketz he should’ve came back for all stars.
Petrozza was so genuinely happy for Christina. Wish both of them could’ve won, he really deserved something.
I love how when Christina gets emotional that first time she was nominated for elimination, Matt was one of the people laughing at her as if he was all that much better.

It totally happened in ss18
my least favorite to favorite contestants from this season:
15: Jason, for obvious reasons
14: Jen, she just annoyed me a lot, she was pretty funny a couple times but it was more annoying than funny a lot of the time, not nearly as bad as some of my least favorites from other seasons however
13: Ben, the excuses were limitless and he tried to play the game without having the essential key thing needed to win the game, the ability to cook
12: Sharon, she was just a dumb blonde and was painful to watch
11: Craig, he would be worse than sharon but he delivered one of the best lines in hells kitchen history so i had to boost him a spot
10: Dominick, didnt really see, well any of him but he looked and sounded like a muppet so thats cool i guess
9: Vanessa, she cried more than christina if thats even possible and gave up after a burn, not the worst but she was pretty eh
8: Rosann, she was a good person but it was so freaking painful to watch her cook, i like her but with her shit cooking skills this is about as high as i can put her
7: Shayna, the definition of an average contestant, didnt do anything to make me dislike her, also didnt do anything to make me like her
6: Matt, i actually found matt hilarious despite most ppl not liking him very much, his craziness and face that looked like he was about to cry at any moment was comical, and i enjoyed him more than i shouldve
5: Corey, she did have her snake like moments where i didnt really like her but she actually grew on me a lot, and by the time she was about to be eliminated she had actually stopped a lot of her antics and became pretty good friends with everyone left instead of being the person she was before the black jackets, so her growth and also her strong talents in the kitchen land her here
4: Louross, i really liked louross, he was a likeable dude, one u can root for, and he was pretty funny too, only reason i cant put him any higher is bc he wasnt the best cook but i liked him a lot
3: Christina, so yes she was a huge crybaby but she was actually pretty entertaining to watch in the kitchen and she had a lot of good moments to go alongside her bad ones, she was sort of the underdog that came with next to nothing to win type of story, and i enjoy that story every now and again, although obviously i wouldve rather she came second place
2: Bobby, a super fun loving, geniune guy, extremely fun to watch progress through the show, and a strong cook as well, his nature just puts a smile on ur face watching him, and i think he was a stronger cook than jen who happened to have one bad performance at the wrong time, and he even handled his defeat extremely well for someone as cocky as he appeared to be at the very beginning of the season, honestly he wouldve been my number 1 if he was in a different season, but unfortunately for him his competition for this spot is simply too good
1: Petrozza, maybe my favorite hells kitchen contestant ever, wouldve given up on the second or third episode i forget if not for bobby, went on to go runner up and honestly shouldve won, maybe the biggest robbery in the history of the show, literally nobody disliked him, hence why he was never put up by anyone except HIMSELF, bc he didnt want to nominate any of his hardworking teammates, if u dont know why this man was just a gift to this world just look how he reacts after he came runner up, a true masterclass in sportsmanship, and by far the best handled loss in the history of the show, there is absolutely nobody who could possibly dislike this man, except if u are like a satanic worshipper or something, but no seriously, petrozza is the best
dont know why i decided to do this but i did, if u read it all ur a goat, cheers

Jason was lazy and a sexist, because he made a sexist comment to vanessa after being eliminated and also vanessa is not a cry baby, if you had a burn you would lose confidence too, so i disagree on that Vanessa part.
Your description of Ben is spot on, he makes my top 5 for the season just because his scenes were hilarious

This video is 50 minutes because of all of Jen’s speeches
In the second elimination, you could tell he didn’t care for Corey’s nominations because she picked both purely out of personal reasons. Gordon cares about if they lack cooking skill or are a detriment to the team, not about your own personal motives.
12:00 is the funniest part, "I don't know percentages" 😂 and Ramsey's reaction is priceless
27:50 “good luck… big boy”

And another favorite season, I actually do love when Gordon places the decision of elimination onto someone else. It's a great test that shows leadership and the ability to see the potential or lack-there-of in someone. He definitely saw the potential in Petrozza and Christina.
