Actually, Nikki won. Going out with 1 or 6 gives you 2 points FOR EACH filled box in the respective colour (red if you go out with a 1, yellow if you go out with a 6), and she had at least three boxes filled every time she used those, so she should have gotten 6 points rather than 2. She did give herself one more point because of the bumpers (4 instead of 3), so in the end, she should have gotten 11 more points, which I believe beats Lincoln's score. Nevertheless, great game and great playthrough! :)
At the 20 minute mark Lincoln didn't score his multiball properly, gave himself 7 points when his points were suppose to be doubled for multiball. - nope wait, he's taking his turn back so who knows...
Played along and got 160 - managed to get super lucky and got my last two Feat of Strength targets during multiball, netting me a cool 50 points in the process. Just goes to show how each player can end up with wildly different games despite everyone having the same dice rolls. Also, another Whoops-Dang™ to make you aware of: if you roll while your ball's on a flipper and nothing above you is available, you can keep the ball on the flippers as long as there's an open box for either of the numbers you rolled. Nikki could have saved her last nudge that way, since she had both a 3 and a 4 available on her flippers.
I got 118 and finished before you two, so I was very surprised by your 119 and 120. I got lucky with a lot of bouncing at the top, but two of my nudges (both 1's) turned into tilts due to doubles being rolled after.
Another rules whiff: The star points get doubled when you have the "multiball" status! Getting high scores on the _Carniball_ table is directly tied to how well you can take advantage of this high scoring chance time!
I got 132 points, but those doubles and low numbers killed my multiballs ;) I am new to the game, but I think before you do the multiballs, it is best to get the feat of strength at least to 5 points, so that it will double. I scored a lot of points when the bumper bonus let me play in both directions...
Most roll and writes can be made into apps eaily, but why would you want to play a roll and write pinball machine, on a phone on which you could play an actual pinball game. Kinda seems to defeat the purpose :D
@@monkeyunit4533 Personally, I have little interest in action games on the phone... I am more into turn-by-turn type of games. Truth is, the game app I am most playing on my phone is a crossword puzzle. I like stuff I can play while waiting in a waiting room for 5-10 minutes, stop on a dime... and come back to it whenever. That's how I app game, at least.
Yet another great episode guys. This actually had more strategy than I thought it would. I'm a huge pinball fan, but I didn't buy this because I was put off by the dice (I have terrible luck with dice lol). Very cool.
🤣🤣 You guys who think Nikki won for missing 11 points of scoring. She moved onto ball 2 twice, giving her 4 balls. Once just after 30mins and once at 43mins.
I came to the comment section just to make sure someone had noticed that. In fact, it was pretty funny when Nikki finally got the 20 points for completing the strength section on her fourth ball and commented that she felt like Lincoln should be way ahead... she was absolutely right.
For some that might be true but it is fun for us to play and it only felt long for me in retrospect. While in the game I was eagerly waiting for the next roll. Thanks for the note and for watching.-Lincoln
@@boardgamegeek I love the R&W genre so was excited for this but decided not to buy based on two plays of the PnP that dragged way too long. Thirty minutes shmirty minutes.
Sonya, those are a series of shirts from teevillain.com. They are still making shirts in that series but I believe that one is not available right now. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
Love this videos. My wife and I watch this with a smile.

That is correct! Both of us forgot to do that. Thanks for pointing that out. -Lincoln

Bought this game after watching this video! My son is super excited to play this!
i just bought this game and this video explained it for me. great job! thank you.
I scored a 108 on my first game. Not too bad.

This game reminds me of the pinball games on the Amiga

This seems like it would translate really well to an app.
I was wondering the same. I guess time will tell.

I’ve never seen so many doubles rolled percentage-wise to total rolls.
The things you hear... "I wouldn't have used the nudge if I could help it, but it's nice to have both balls in play."

Woohoo for the Game Night Date Nights!
I played the PNP version and liked it.
Will check out this retail version :)
Best thumbnail so far!!
I got 92, but it the was first time i played this. I probably missed some points.
Wish this was a 30 minute game. Feels like a grind at an hour.

You could shorten the game by not allowing nudges.
Where's the RED7 and GLOOMHAVEN ??
Love your shirt Nikki! Where did you get it?

I believe Nikki won and really she had 11 more..
Oof -- Lincoln lost his balls on Date Night.
This looks fun as heck, but a nightmare for lefties.
I got 130 points
I thought nikki and dave were a couple ... 🤔 dont know why but i did
They are often seated on the same side of the table. Might make you group them together subconsciously
