It's been 7 years since I last watched this and I stopped mid-ish around episode 25. I watched it the time we were mourning on my grandpa's death. Somehow I remember this anime was my escape on that week and stopped watching it after that. Now I'll definitely Watch this then Fire Force! Never expected Soul Eater to be my comfort anime as a child

I finished it in the summer after I finished fire force (anime) then I found out it was made by the same mangaka is definitely something I would recommend to anyone trying to get into anime

Start reading the manga before/ during the second Mifune vs Blackstar fight if you don't feel like rereading from the beginning. The outcome of that fight changes the tone of each completely imo.
Honestly, reading from the beginning is the best, but it's up to the individual
