This was one of my favorite story. The song was beautiful too. Very glad they are making a sequel . The older brother deserves to have a happy ending too. He was not a bad guy.

Prince Yu never treated jinyan wrongly from beginning to the end of this drama he could not even maintain getting mad at her for long that's very remarkable despite jinyan childish annoying and lying behavior from beginning to the end🤦 But still Well done to all crew and cast they still made it ♥️
Funny thing is that if Jin knew the whole story of their relationship, it would only enhance his feeling that Sujin was somehow his and he lost her because of other people's actions. It's a mistake many second leads do, to be fair. They mistake childhood friends for childhood sweethearts. Sujin and him were never the latter. Just remember the beginning, marrying him was equally unwelcome choice as marrying a total stranger. She never picked him, when she could. She never saw him as a more than childhood friend. She didn't even understood why is Yu jealous of him. That's how little she saw him as a man.
She even flat out told him that she only saw him as a brother. She saw him as a mentor too, one who helped her when she was little to read and write, but she never saw him as anything more then a friend. She absolutely could have married him in the beginning if she had feelings for him like that, but she chose to run away instead, that should have been as clear as it comes for him.
I wish the writers had written a better script.Because the characters weren't developed properly. The female lead remained immature throughout the entire drama. So it's hard for me to believe she ever understood what it requires to be in an intimate relationship with a man.

Damn it, I really wanted to know if Rongjing and Zhong Li got together. It just left those two characters out. I think they deserve to be together. Rongjing and Zhong Li are both very kind characters and they deserve happiness in love.

Beautiful CDrama, finally watched it even though it came out 3 years ago. Loved the cast. Loved the ending for the MLs. Would've loved for Zhong Li and Princess Rongjing to seal their rshp and have kids.

I was'nt sure whether to continue to watch after Episode 14 was stalled for so many months and I had to go back to Episode 1 in order to follow up but it certainly was worthwhile.

It was really stressful watching this movie, even though I had to skip lots of episodes. The female character didn't grow up till the end. She is the type of character that portrays women as cowards, she's only active when it's time to mess things up. She needs to learn from Fuyao. 😏
In the end they met. There were many loose ends, because an important lie cannot remain hidden for so long without investigating. Romance was the central point and they forgot the essence of the story, a good plot. Acting love is an art.

This is now one of my favourite dramas! I absoloutely loved it, normally I get bored at some point during a drama, but I never got bored during this drama, it was great and I think Prince Yu and Jinyan go well together, I love this couple...I hope their will be more dramas like this coming out
it was a slow moving romantic love story basic on a lot of mis understanding facts from the pass. its nice to see the first time you meet someone , you both have that special feeling toward each other, you just can't shake the feeling. thanks writers for happy ending. the cast was great. 12/11

But for me there were many loose ends. Like Sujin's parents. We never met her father and never got to see how they take what happened with their daughters. Does Suyu come back to being Suyu or she was seen by too many people and must pretend to be Sujin until death? Some backlash between the dowager and Yu. After all, she raised him and then went after his life to compensate her biological son. And what about Zhong Li? They wrapped up the romance and throne and everything else went out of the window to make room for more problems before it ends.
Bravo!.. l loved this drama. Very well done. Great acting from the whole cast..never a dull moment. This is my second time viewing this one and l appreciated it more. This is one that l have saved as l plan to watch it again and recommend it to others. Good choice of matching Chen Jingke & Xu Yating for their roles Will search for other work from these two.
Thanks for uploading this drama. It was good and somehow fell for all the good actors' acting. The story was interesting but it seems like they ended it prematurely. There is still a lot of important 'scenes' that they just left and fast forward. It should've 2 more episode. Anyways i enjoy watching.😊

Thank goodness this train wreck finally came to a stop. The two main leads were poorly written. Neither of them should have been allowed near a palace of administrative authority. The whole plot died after episode three when she denied him the truth for the third time. 34 episodes and 34 lies that never needed to go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, should have killed her so many times just for her lying to the Prince.
Why did you watch the other episodes if you couldn’t put up with it? They are quite badly written especially the fl, she hasn’t got any character development maybe a little bit at the end. I could still put up with it but skipped quite a few episodes. But yeah overall what you said is very true.
His love for is the purest ...he gave up everything for her...and a somebody said his selfish... I bet u can find a selfish person out their who can give up everything for a woman.
Well, this drama was cute. I agree with Prince Yu, Prince Jin deserves to reign. A monarch shouldn't put one's personal affairs before the nation. Ultimately, Jinyan was the key to the stability of the state. Because Prince Jin will focus solely on the country (his own name Jin will make him reluctant to pursue love). Meanwhile Prince Yu's hot temperament will be apeaced by the free roaming of the world with pure-hearted Jinyan. P.S. I liked the closure of the bunch of mysteries related to the palace (though if one is used to watching schemes in cdramas, then you could have long figured it out).
Actually personal feelings are deeply embedded in leadership and we choose to ignore. Every good leader follows their conviction. Convictions are deep personal drives and feelings that guide a person to do bad or good. Jin's conviction was in solving problems for the nation and that's why he should be the king, while Yu's conviction was in solving problems for himself, that's why he deserves to live in happiness and peace with his wife. That's the difference.....

It was really stressful watching this movie, even though I had to skip lots of episodes. The female character didn't grow up till the end. She is the type of character that portrays women as cowards, she's only active when it's time to mess things up. She needs to learn from Fuyao.

In the end they met. There were many loose ends, because an important lie cannot remain hidden for so long without investigating. Romance was the central point and they forgot the essence of the story, a good plot. Acting love is an art.

Que gran historia! con final feliz como me gusta, la disfruté de principio a fin. Mi personaje favorito fue el protagonista, el actor Chen Jing Ke realmente se lució, buscaré más trabajos de él, quedé con ganas de seguirlo viendo.
This is now one of my favourite dramas! I absoloutely loved it, normally I get bored at some point during a drama, but I never got bored during this drama, it was great and I think Prince Yu and Jinyan go well together, I love this couple...I hope their will be more dramas like this coming out
it was a slow moving romantic love story basic on a lot of mis understanding facts from the pass. its nice to see the first time you meet someone , you both have that special feeling toward each other, you just can't shake the feeling. thanks writers for happy ending. the cast was great. 12/11

But for me there were many loose ends. Like Sujin's parents. We never met her father and never got to see how they take what happened with their daughters. Does Suyu come back to being Suyu or she was seen by too many people and must pretend to be Sujin until death? Some backlash between the dowager and Yu. After all, she raised him and then went after his life to compensate her biological son. And what about Zhong Li? They wrapped up the romance and throne and everything else went out of the window to make room for more problems before it ends.

Thanks for uploading this drama. It was good and somehow fell for all the good actors' acting. The story was interesting but it seems like they ended it prematurely. There is still a lot of important 'scenes' that they just left and fast forward. It should've 2 more episode. Anyways i enjoy watching.😊

Thank goodness this train wreck finally came to a stop. The two main leads were poorly written. Neither of them should have been allowed near a palace of administrative authority. The whole plot died after episode three when she denied him the truth for the third time. 34 episodes and 34 lies that never needed to go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, should have killed her so many times just for her lying to the Prince.

Why did you watch the other episodes if you couldn’t put up with it? They are quite badly written especially the fl, she hasn’t got any character development maybe a little bit at the end. I could still put up with it but skipped quite a few episodes. But yeah overall what you said is very true.

Well, this drama was cute. I agree with Prince Yu, Prince Jin deserves to reign. A monarch shouldn't put one's personal affairs before the nation. Ultimately, Jinyan was the key to the stability of the state. Because Prince Jin will focus solely on the country (his own name Jin will make him reluctant to pursue love). Meanwhile Prince Yu's hot temperament will be apeaced by the free roaming of the world with pure-hearted Jinyan.
P.S. I liked the closure of the bunch of mysteries related to the palace (though if one is used to watching schemes in cdramas, then you could have long figured it out).
Actually personal feelings are deeply embedded in leadership and we choose to ignore. Every good leader follows their conviction. Convictions are deep personal drives and feelings that guide a person to do bad or good.
Jin's conviction was in solving problems for the nation and that's why he should be the king, while Yu's conviction was in solving problems for himself, that's why he deserves to live in happiness and peace with his wife. That's the difference.....

Para mi el príncipe Yu debió verse quedado como gobernante, por algo le heredó el token imperial su difunto padre el emperador.
Hace falta una segunda parte porque muchos misterios quedaron inconclusos

The drama was generally good, there was a happy ending which is a miracle for Chinese series, good story but undeveloped well. Still, I liked it, the actors complemented each other well
