I hate when people have to walk out into the middle of the street to board streetcars. It must be even more dangerous getting off with the cabs and cars possibly passing on the right.
We got an NFL team , no subways at all , no light rail 2 freight rail lines , no trolleys and shoddy bus transport-and a small weak taxi service .this reminds me of mini st . Paul.. and nyny reminds me of Chicago ,some..
somehow an odd feeling as an european, seeing the usually so car-crowded streets in combination with a typically european type of transport. still really classy trams.
I'm 4 years late, but these streets existed before the car. That's the reason why they're in the middle. Shifting them would require billions of dollars, and a bunch of headaches that's not worth it.

Who thought it would be a good idea to put streetcars in the center lanes? Wouldn’t putting them on outer lanes not slow down traffic as much?
