Cycling to Limestone Caves in Okutama-Japan Travel奥多摩でサイクリング&鍾乳洞探検は!

  • 11 Kilometers up a mountain is one of the biggest limestone caves in Japan. We bike our way up while catching some beautiful scenery on the way. We also stop for lunch at an old-fashioned Japanese cafeteria serving fresh trout and soba. 日本語の字幕は、設定で字幕をオンにしてください。
    On the way, we encounter one of the scariest suspension bridges we've ever encountered. It looked like it would break apart anytime soon!
    It starts to storm as we ride back down the slippery roads down to the village, where we visit the calm and clear waters of Nippara River. Located just a stone-throw's away from Tokyo, Okutama is a great place to enjoy Japan's nature.

      +Cat Sieja The caves were fascinating and a bit scary to be honest with you. I had no idea what to expect and how deep it went. The chimes are from the water that drips down into the cave. Thanks for coming along the journey with us!

    You guys were so brave cycling during the hottest season in Japan. I got there on Aug 18 last year and I died. Having been lived in arrid Idaho for nearly 40 years, my body pretty much broke down with humidity and heat. Looks a lot of fun though.

      in the Kitchen With Jonny This sure was a lot of fun. We actually use a variety of cameras. We usually use a Panasonic DMC for most things but for this video, we had to use a Go Pro for some scenes. The sound isn't that great though. I also use my iPhone camera when I need to shoot something really quick.

    • @TabiEats
      @TabiEats  9 лет назад

      +Memosne It was a bit tiring, but good exercise! Actually the cave wasn't claustrophobic at all. There were certain areas where it was very narrow but halfway through, it opened up where the ceiling was really up high. It was a great experience!
