I was surprised that Wm “Dummy” Hoy was deaf baseball player. Wm is short for William. He was excellent baseball player. It would be greatly and humbly honored him as Hall of Fame. And of course, legendary!
Yes! William taught the umpire sign strike, ball & out but unfair the umpire got honor, not William. It was pissed off!😠 As you know deaf people tried hard for William but failed.
Be mind type William Hoy @Google. It's about him. About few ago deaf guy(not remember name) asked deaf people to support William @Daily Moth but not enough & it was the last minute, he was wrong, it should be a year advance.
@@bonniesandy9512 I say the deaf guy (unknown name) announced to ask for their support William for Hall of Fame one month before, it was not enough time...see Senator Brown, he says December, that's plenty of time...GET IT?
Robert Traina will be so thrilled. He’s the most knowledgeable person re Hoy I know of. I wonder if there’s any connection between Hoy and St Rita school.
@@bonniesandy9512 I typed William Hoy @Google, @Ohio School for the Deaf in 1872 & graduated in 1879. St Rita started in 1915...Wow I read William's history.
The hearing people didn't mean to call William Hoy dummy cuz he couldn't speak as old fashioned & dark age. Right now dummy isn't no longer. Me, too I was hearing high school, the teacher Mr Pronovost said my name & dummy I blew up at him on September & I'm not, he changed to deaf, it was really big difference between deaf and hearing, that time was no interpreter, long later... I graduated, Whew!
Wonderful Senator Brown for William Hoy, hopeful William will be honored!⚾🤟👏🤗
Yes, he should be honored.
I remembered William taught the umpire sign ball, strike & out, umpire got honor, not William, it's unfair.

@@j.l.5935 - Hoy never went to St. Rita. He went to Ohio school for the Deaf.
