    He is ranked by knowledgeable baseball writer bill James as one of the top 50 center fielders of all time. I can’t remember the exact ranking but it’s 46 or 48 I think.
    He was a very good player, fast as hell

    Yes, he did get married and stayed married until September 24, 1951, when she passed. Anna Maria Lowry. He was 99 when he passed. Hopefully this is a help

    Dummy Hoy didn’t win Cy Young Award then Pete Rose didn’t win Cy Young Award, period
    Babe Ruth ultimately won Cy Young Award In 1916! When the court order was banned Pete Rose from Pro Baseball Hall Of Fame In 1984 the same different concept of playing cards ♠️ rather eat Snickers candy bar
