Something that worked for me with the oring on the muffler delete was just a very yiny bit of silocone in a couple spots of the oring just to make it sticcky enough to stay in the channel on the turbo

    what about the throttle pipes?

Your throttle valve on the EA888 Gen3 Engine is 56mm (2.2 inches) so everything beyond that size for the cooler pipes is a waste in my opinion.

Are youy still running the 2.5" piping? I just purchased a do88 big pack, read up and eqt sells a 2.75" piping kit!

I am. I would love to upgrade but since I got it installed it’s been fine so I have just left it.

Another great vid. With the HPFP, intercooler, the charge pipe, and
E-85 mods, have you had EQT adjust a custom tune? Just wondering. Thanks

I’m still on the same E85 OTS tune with the HPFP update. I’m waiting for the custom tune for when I do the turbo upgrade. I am waiting on one more part before I can install that.

The silicon pipe to the tmd seemed pretty soft when you were squeezing it in?

Did you unplug your 2nd O2 sensor the black one? I was reading some article that said you should because the car will run rich.

Yes in fact I did a video about it (when I changed to rs7 plugs).

I have the same setup on my GTI and did this install a couple weeks ago. So yours is kinked even after boiling it? I didn't have much trouble getting the silicone pipe onto the hard pipe without having to boil it, but I’m guessing the amount of kink is reduced by boiling? My kink is pretty noticeable.

No…. I have a bit of kink still. Haven’t found a better option yet. I just worked it to have as little restriction as possible.

Hello. Are these pipes compatible with the DQ381 dsg?

Since I have the DQ381 DSG in this car, I’d say yes. :-)
