I'm so glad she changed her dismount. In recent years, I've always been afraid that she wouldn't get the double layout quite around (what happened on the first day of P&Gs). Double layouts are difficult with a 5'5" frame.
She went back to double layout in NCAA and pretty much stuck it every single time. I don't know if NCAA bars can be set a bit higher, but she had great success there. The UB routines were also way shorter in NCAA, so there was no issue with endurance.

I hope she does the upgrades she says she's doing. She says she's working on putting in bars stalders on all her skills and a bhardwaj. Her d score would be a 6.8 with these upgrades.

I thought she was 5'6". Either way she's tall by gymnastics standards and average by normal standards.
Zyxcba She might be. She was 5'5" at the end of 2013, so it's definitely possible that she grew another inch.
If she was 5'5" at the end of 2013 than definitely because I can tell she grew a little bit since nanning.

She scored 15.250 (D= 6.0, E= 9.250) and won the gold medal. (The results are on the USA Gymnastics site.)

She really was a beautiful gymnast to watch. She may not have had the top difficulty but she always tried to Max out her execution scores.
