I like this bnd plugged or unplugged. It sucks that so many of them are not wiht us any more. I am glad they have continued on even after that horriable plane crash back in 1977. Long live LYNYRD SKYNYRD. I wish all the past memebrs were still here. imagin what they might have done had they not died so early in life. R. I. P. to all of the lost memebers of this amaxing band. tank you for finding and psoting this concert.
More than exceptional. With Billy still present, this was still a perfect lineup. It's a pity that Allen and Steve are missing, they were a magic trio with Gary. Top notch musicians....Gary Rossington I love it!
@Tony McGahee, I don't know if he would've loved a band like Skynyrd behind him or not, but I'll bet the King would've been truly flattered that a band like Skynyrd would've covered one of his biggest hits and made it sound this good. I'm pretty sure Elvis would've approved!
@@GBeret83 so what you are saying is Elvis wouldn’t have liked Lynyrd Skynyrd liking him but he would have liked them playing his songs - so, liking them
@@SQUIRRELGUY3ybENrT , Really don't think I went the long way around the barn here. I simply said I didn't know what he would've thought about Skynyrd playing behind him, or opening for him either one for that matter because I've never seen any pictures or anything in print saying he ever met the guys from Skynyrd. I know Elvis was a big fan of The Beatles, The Stones, & Led Zepplin, so it's not really a stretch to think he might've really liked Skynyrd with their understanding each others culture and musical influences and the like all being southern boys.
lovely to see ed king with skynyrd :-0

Doesn't get better than Ed King
If Elvis had ever gotten to hear this version my gut says he would've said "damn this rocks" and "who's that on the piano."
