Inconsistencies in the flow of the narrative, repetitions, logical errors are just some of the things that ruin the overall impression. AIs are good at generating individual short sequences, but they cannot (yet) write complete stories. A human author is needed here to intervene and make corrections and seamlessly put the individual sequences together in a meaningful way.
