Just received the chromed steel extended mag for this (also fits Pit Viper)......and just when you thought this gun couldn't be any more bad ass.....BANG !......😁
We get the JAG version here in the states. The mounting plate is different and sits higher. Wonder why they did that. I also understand the JAG version has a higher powered nozzle ? Either way, it's a bad ass looking pistol, along with the Pit Viper.
the jag version is better I believe amd looks closer to the real steel if I'm right. we should be getting that soon over here. I'm going to get the pit viper in jag I believe when available haha.
as a collector,i would have wished for a EMG/G&P exterior finish. the tone is off by a lot it seems and the slide is missing the polished parts but then that this is a very nice looking replica of the real thing. alone the sro on top👍🏾
yeah I felt the same way with regards to the finish and polished sections. there are a couple other minor points too but overall it is a really nice gun. thankyou buddy 😎
I recently saw a video of EMG showing their Sand Viper and Pit Viper prototypes. It does have the polished parts and the color tone seems to be more accurate. Unfortunately the grips don't appear to be stippled but more of a mold. Since they are prototypes that could probably change.
@@Laikmuay yeah in comparison the EMG does look to have a better finish on it. Will see what theirs is like after release amd it may be a swap for this one for me haha.
@@Laikmuay yeah ive seen that one🥰. emg works together with AWcustom internal wise, wich is not TMspec so you are very limited regarding tuning,more of a adjusting with AW.but exterior with emg is mostly flawless thanks to G&P. but for me as a collector,of course im more attached to the esthetics with this one as i have to only add a light and a sro and dont shell out a fortune for all over tuning like i did on my glocks... really hope to see more vids from both pistols. this would be my first ever 2011 gbb model ever too...
Well, indeed EMG did come out with the (per real steel) two tone slide on the Sand Viper. Only thing is, other than that feature, I believe the the Jag/Army version is more authentic in every other way, apart from the barrel length Jag/Army got wrong. So now what ? Do I keep my "single toned" Jag, or sell it off for the more original (.......and pretty bad ass looking) EMG Sand Viper ?
I really regret selling this one I can't lie.... but I did have an ulterior motive in mind and thats that I'm gonna get the pit viper to replace it, I must admit I do prefer a black gun 🤣
@@wildsurvivalukactually I can't decide between the pit viper and the sand viper. But since I prefer non-black guns (I also bought a TM Foliage Warrior 😂), I will likely get the sand viper....Not sure how much I will like shooting with the red dot though. 🤔 But it should be fun.
@@siobhonc it may not cone with the red dot depending where you get ot from and if it's a package so worth baring in mind. I did have a trijicon SRO on my sand viper at 1 point and it suited it so well.
