She was patriotic for the right reasons-- unfortunately, too many who call themselves "patriotic" have designs on our nation that are anything but (I don't recall Lynda's WW character, or the character in herself, ever having such goals). And as for the character, Lynda's go of it was, is, and always will be her signature role.
