@@suekelly840 Ah, for hand applique, you would definitely want to search for a large eye needle. When I googled the 12 wt pearl cotton, it recommended a size 15 milliner's needle. I checked out on Etsy and found this link for a large eye size 15 milliner's need: www.etsy.com/listing/1537205889/milliners-needles-15-gold-eye-by-edmar-4?gpla=1&gao=1&&:pla-4584551177332517_c__1537205889&msclkid=4a692889e79c128ac1a44ee4177b2536 Let me know how it works for you!
@@quiltingwithlori I ordered the Size 15 milliner's needle. It won't work because, even though the 12w pearl cotton fits through the eye, the needle itself it too thick and won't pierce the fabric easily. I'll continue to use a Fons and Porter self-threading needle. Thank you for your suggestion.
I love all your projects please never stop
Thank you for your encouraging words! That means a lot to me!
Love these videos! Thanks so much for these Lori!
You are so welcome!
It beautiful
I would like to hand applique the pieces using 12wt pearl cotton. Can you suggest which needle I should use? Thank you for your fun videos.
Sue, the best needle to use with 12 wt pearl cotton would be size 90/14 or 100/16 topstitch needle.
@@quiltingwithlori Which needle for hand applique? The needles that I have have eyes that are too small for this thicker thread.
