This song is me. 20 years ago. I was in my early 20's. Playing in bands. Having the time of my life and not realizing it. Every day was fucking off with my friends, punk shows, record shopping, $3 burritos. It was heaven and I had no idea that life wouldn't be like that forever. I miss those days. And while I miss them, I'm glad they are behind me.
I remember those days too at 21…. Late band practice 45 mins there and back. Pronto pizza or cheeseburgers past midnight. 15 years later I’m back it again but in the shed of my back yard with a few co workers. Feels great I outta say
Yeah, it's weird for me. Those days were some of the worst of my life, but I almost exclusively look back on them fondly. The freedom of being absolutely broke and living night to night. Bad jobs. In-between days. "Where is it tonight? Beach? Basement? Cool." You're maybe 3-4 years older than me but seems like a similar vibe. Music was life. Weird time trying to get your shit together while mitigating heavy inevitable decisions onto another day. Suddenly thrown in the deep end and naively treading water: Waiting for a wave without realizing it. Catching one without knowing. Maybe I'm reading into your comment too much, haha. Cheers. Appreciate the sentiment. Hope you're doing well.
I'm positively shocked that someone actually made a cover of this song in 2019... I still can't believe my eyes and ears... This is one of the most amazing songs ever, a hymn in it's own way. Not enough acclaimed as it should be. Thank you for the revival of this masterpiece!
We had this thing within the hardcore scene in stockholm, sweden at around 2010 where like every show that played ended with this or a Ceremony song. This brings back good memories!
This performance is something truly special, you just feel the power and emotion of the original song. Almost as if you were transported to the original era and were there to witness this song yourself, like a time machine. I can only imagine what it was like to hear music like this for the first time.
This is damn authentic to the original. Great to hear a version with better fidelity, haha. Definitely love the tone / feeling of the original recording with squeezed bands and vinyl pops from transfer, but super cool to hear a cleaner version.
The last semester of school, I worked an internship that had me alone and in a data center doing some work. Fall 1999 - pretty much the only thing I listened to the entire time was the KZSU live set from 1995. Angry Son - lost track of the number of times I've sung along. You did the song a good turn. Thank you for remembering this track, all these years later.
Half as hard achieved. Would have been 1.2 times as hard with overdriven instead of fuzzed slightly more precise guitar tone and the vocals of someone doing permanent damage to their vocal chords by literally screaming. In all seriousness great job guys, ambitious cover.
It’s wild that someone covered this in 2019. Amazing work too.
Emos not dead!

Bravo, very well performed! I am lucky that I saw Indian Summer live in '94!

What a feat to cover this song! Your use of the vinyl sample shows the respect you have for this song. Great work.

This song alone has helped me through a lot in my life. Won’t ever take place of the original, but great cover. Well done.
Probably the closest we’ll ever get to a remaster of the original. Great work!
Did you not know that Numero Group remastered their stuff and put out a vinyl discography last year?
This is so fucking cool.
Flawless. Amazing video edit you guys, a great discover! Chills from Chile!
its really good but not flawless. some of the riffs are wrong/different but maybe they did that on purpose i think
Very brave of you guys to cover this song. Did a wonderfull job, chills down my spine.
:'c
I Really love this version, angry son is one of my favourite songs , thank you for this :)
HOLY FUCKIN SHIT DUDE I GOT A LUMP IN MY THROAT
you got it fucking down
это удивительный кавер, когда слушаю это, вспоминаются некоторые незажившие раны, и одновременно ловишь какой-то кайф, это непонятное чувство.
My recommendeds really know what to give me. Like a band that gave tribute to Woolworm. Wonderful
Much respect from Orange, CA
I thought this is audiotree studio
I cant believe this exists and was posted in 2019. Thank you
This song is the best 90s emo song imo. Fucking classic.
this is criminally underrated
Blz, do caraaaaalho

It’s crazy that someone took the time and effort to make this, so long after the song first came out. So well made, props!

This is really fucking tight, awesome to hear this song done in high quality!
Brilliant.

One of my fav songs. Great job!
Wow, such a pleasant suprise seeing a song that has been so close to my heart for so many years recreated so well. Thank you.
I want to thank you all for this cover and Indian Summer for creating this medicinal music.
Ok, as someone who loved the original back in the day. This is a solid cover for sure.

eyyy a cover of my alltime favourite song. respect. well done
Zero dislikes. That's pretty telling. Cheers from Poland!
FANTÁSTICO!
Начало, просто очешуенное! А дальше, уже не запоминаешь как дослушиваешь трек до конца, очень гипнотично. Мне нравится.)
great cover

still one of the songs ever!
Damn that was a really well done cover! Cheers from New York.
Current status: hopeful that this will rock half as hard as the original.
Half as hard achieved. Would have been 1.2 times as hard with overdriven instead of fuzzed slightly more precise guitar tone and the vocals of someone doing permanent damage to their vocal chords by literally screaming.
In all seriousness great job guys, ambitious cover.
