I have been using this application for two years, and I can manage the scrape work of alla the roms at 360 °, very Berry nice! I renew the congratulations to the developers, for me they are heroes! Thanks Batocera Nation for all you tutorial, for people lost in this world you are a best guide
If some Rom artwork etc is not found, is there a setting where you can choose a Rom folder but only re-scan the roms that are missing artwork? I don't want to replace any rom artwork that is already found.
Nice to have diff options for sure. Nice video as usual 👍 Future tutorial suggestion: "How to upscale resolution for Atari 2600 games via installation of custom hi-res texture packs" 😉🤣😇
Dang, it trying to set this up but I am using a 4k TV as my monitor and I can not view the entire ARRM page to even log in. I tried adjusting my resolution and other display settings. Will try to figure it out.
I still can't figure this out since my main computer i use to scrape is the computer that use batocera.. Im not using another machine. The configuration when you start skraper is what confuses me as the games and roms are on my external harddrive and i transfer them using f1 in batocera when transfering the gamelist.xml file into my snes folder the videos or images don;t show up
Besides the gamelist file, you also need to transfer the images and videos that Skraper creates. They are located in a folder or folders created by the app.
Oh, it might be that it is scraping the location of your hard drive (D drive or E drive, etc). Open your gamelist.xml file with Notepad and look where it is pointing your videos and images to. If it is pointing to your external hard drive, make sure it is the same drive letter that your Batocera is looking for and not the internal drive. If your games and roms are in your local drive then gamelist has to point them there or if they are located in your external drive, that it points there.
great, thank you very much, the truth is that this application seems complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it is very complete and very powerful. I'm just having a problem, it's that it downloads the "wheels", but then the batocera themes don't show them to me, if I look at the gamelist the images appear as "wheel", but the batocera emulationstation doesn't show them, you know what it is the trick? Thanks
You have to go to the UI settings and choose it from there. Not all "Themes" have a wheel setting. If your Theme does not have a wheel setting in the UI settings, then download another Theme.
Question - for me I only have system with Batocera on my laptop and booting it from a USB so I can't have both running at the same time, so how can I connect to batocera using my laptop so the scraping tools can work, thank you
Depending upon the size of all your games, you can copy the roms folder to a portable hard drive. Then use the scraper apps on the portal hard drive. Once everything is scraped, copy everything but the actual roms (since you already have them on your Batocera system) back into your Batocera system.
Hello, on Batocera I couldn't find the covers for the future pinball nor on the screenscraper! This arrm can I get? Have you already managed to do it? Thanks.
Im trying to scrape steam/windows games and I still have no idea what im doing but the scraped images appear horrible in retrobat. We need another tutorial for scraping steam/windows games.
@@chendogames181 I just looked it up. Time Traveler is a LaserDisc Game. It might run in Daphne. Have you seen the video tutorial for Daphne? Here's some more information that might help you. www.rlauncher.com/showthread.php?4590-Cannot-run-Time-Traveler-through-Dahpne-Singe-only-PC-launcher
If i use ARRM, i scrape in 1 week but if i use batocera for scraping i can get my whole list of games in just 1 hour. Please explain why ARRM scrape so sloooooow ????
The built in scraper is much better than this, this does not even work, it loses connection to my batocera system and does not scrape any games. When I type in \\batocera\share oms I get a error "Windows can't access \\batocera\share oms"
I'm not the developer of the software. Go to the site and ask them if they can add the Russian language to the software. The site is found in my video description.
batocera's scraper , arrm and skraper all suck , they only scrap the systems they want leaving many of them out . for example i tried to scrape flash games with all 3 of them , they all find literally nothing.
Some things are simply not supported. So thats whoever makes those scrapers issue. I have many systems in my Batocera build and only have issues with certain systems that cannot be scraped. Like Future Pinball, Mugen for eg But all the well known and more consoles, handhelds and arcade systems are supported, if its not scraping those then likely your rom names are incorrect. For systems that cannot be scraped like say Future Pinball and PC games, you can do those manually. Edit metadata option per game and type in a description and add your own screenshot/boxart etc Yeah it can be time consuming depending on how many games you have for systems that scrapers dont support.
This is the most incomprehensible UI i've ever seen EVER and that's saying a lot.
Also, my interface looking nothing like this? Every screen is different.

Thanks for your uplifting words! And yes, the Batocera developers are simply awesome!
Yeah real Nice, I use this as Main app to get a clean looking ES in Batocera with all the artwork. I use the CKAU book theme.👍
It's a great app!
That was pretty helpful. Thanks a lot man.
great work, thank you for your efforts
Since ARRM 1920 beta 13, ARRM allows multi-threading scraping on screenscraper (up to 15 threads)
Exactly what I’m looking for thanks.

Wow I knew that NES games had HD texture and Sprite packs but I didn't know they were doing that for Atari, what emulators is that by chance?

Hi. Look in the ARRM wiki, section Faq & Errors, you Will find "Under windows 10, the program does not display texts and forms correctly"
@@nexusone1311 I appreciate your response. I ended up using Skraper instead.

Unfortunately, Future Pinball is not being scraped at all with both apps. You have to download the pics and videos off the internet.
how do i find the share folder if ive already installed on an internal ssd, the "share" volume is not listed in windows
Turn on the Network Settings using this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/KOGMWtGSlwA/видео.html Then try it again.

Grato pelo software, ajud bastante, mais a interface tem que melhorar muito...
Must be long to download all video manually and set them....
Well it depends. If you have thousands of games to scrap then yes. Otherwise it isn't all that bad if you have good internet speeds.

Good video, but omg... ARRM has to be the worst UX/UI I have ever seen. Trash software. Won't ever use again.
