My Probation Officer and being put on Probation for 2 years saved my life. Forced me to finally give up drugs and gave me some much needed structure. I actually wanted to have it extended...that's here in Connecticut anyway :)

Christopher Norman Crepon I just got my BA in Psychology and I'm hoping to become a probation officer. I want to promote positive changes like this and ensure that offenders are getting fair probation that helps.

I wanted to do this year's ago but my son Carl dad who is a police officer in st.paul he said no way I can be one do it for a while now and then he afraid that I might be in danger for the future of our own lives in the same place as a family friends and to make a decision together for my future to get back at the same place as a person who is a mom to our son.

Karla D. I’m doing an internship with a probation offfice they usually bring another officer with them. If the person has a history of like use of guns then they bring a sheriff officer

Depends on State. Georgia POs go out alone.

In California they are peace officers with arrest powers pursuant to pc830.5. They usually hit houses in pairs, one makes contact another searches. If it’s a bad or dangerous house they might hit it with more officers

Depends on the state. Kentucky we have a minimum of two for field visits, office visits are one on one

1,001 is o.k. but 1 foot less and you're in violation... (ridiculous isn't it?)
