  • Welcome back everyone! Today we will show you how to install Thule T2 Pro XT XTR Add On. The Thule T2 Pro XT Platform Hitch Add-On allows storage for 2 extra bikes on the T2 Pro XT hitch rack. This extension integrates with your T2 Pro hitch rack and enables you to bring along 2 additional bikes.

    I figured out the installation of the locks by using the master key to introduce the locks in the hole

    great video, i just bought the add-on... gonna install it this spring.. thanks very very much.
    any idea how to 'unmount' the add-on? it seems very difficult or even impossible to detach it from the T2 Pro...

      It's a little difficult but you just reverse the process.

      Add a bit of lubricant to the extension before inserting and it will go on and come off a lot easier. Should not need to hammer it in.

      @@AutoSensation I agree, I can't seem to get mine to budge after I remove all the screws. Did you have any success with removing yours?

      I was hoping the 2 or 4 bike configuration was a bit less work as I wanted to change from 2 to 4 configuration frequently. Nice video!

    now the bike rack is like 100lbs. and taller than your roof. Its pretty much a permeant mount. Lol
