So you raise the streets...and the water goes inside of the properties? I did not watch the whole vid, it was too long. I just think in the people paying millions and millions on houses in Miami....on places like Star Island, etc etc etc.
The only realistic solution is to leave south Florida. The Greenland ice sheet is doomed, so 7m sea level is just a matter of time. People should start their plans to withdraw from the coasts.
Or do like us, (Netherlands) You have to build canals with big pump stations to pump out the water to sea. And build dykes. (This will cost a lot and will raise the taxes in Miami extremely high)
Parents home in South Florida is less than half a mile away from the ocean and They or i have not seen any flooding from the ocean. Only when it rains hard that flooding occurs. Family has been in south fl since the 50's.
