Best stress relief: watching your art videos! I’ve been watching your videos for months, and am so impressed with how much experimentation you undertake!
Loved this video, I enjoy Derwent so much. Right now I have the 24 count of Derwent Drawing and a few of the Derwent Chromaflow and they're both really nice to work with. I do want a few of the Derwent Lightfast ones but they are really pricey. Thank you for doing this experiment, it really gave me an insight to the sets.
Oh I'm in between which I should get. I have the derwent drawing but need some brighter colors akd cant decide between the chromaflow and light-fast. It's most.for mixed media
When I was a teen I had 72 set of Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer water soluble pencils and also, used them until they were just small stubs, loved them to bits, so to say. I just got a box of 24 of the Derwent drawing and I am very happy with them. Thank you for the full video, I am quite sure I got the exact pencils suitable for me, but I think I will get some of the harder ones just in certain colours. Thank you again for your hard work!
@@KitKatToeBeans ok I have a question. Have you tried prismas or coloursoft? And if so, how would you compare the them to the chromaflow? I'm really considering trying the chromaflow or the light-fast from the derwent brand.
I have a set of 72 artist rexel Derwent pencils in the tin from late 80s early 90s. Also a 72 set of rexel Artist pencils in the wooden box from the same time.
Shoot I didn't have derwent I had crayolas 😂 but its for that reason that i never fell in love with colored pencils at least not until recently ..now that.im in my thirties

Wow, thank you!

I found it hard to get a handle on the chromoflows. The lightfast are really nice and you get a better colour range with them.

I'd love to get the full set of drawing pencils. They are gorgeous colours.
The derwent drawing are the best but they only have muted landscape colors and no really bright ones
I love this, watched and enjoyed till the end ☺☺☺
Thanks 😀
Derwent drawing are my favorite pencils ever. I only use those and some prismas but those chromaflow are looking up my alley
I love the Luminance pencils but I know they are too soft for some people.
I absolutely love my Chromaflow! Definitely recommend getting them when you can ❤

@@sketchingtheworldwithkat I LOOVE soft but they're too expensive where I am.

You still have them? And the wooden box, that's really swish!
@@sketchingtheworldwithkat yes!
Which ones are most similar to the derwent drawing in terms of feel/softness? I need to add a few brights to ky drawing collection
I'd say the Chromaflow.
Are this older (not rexel) Derwent artists with full color barrel and this with dip color ends have the same core?
I think so.

Crayolas make coloured pencils?
