Here's the trick - if the Sounders pull out a hell of a season next year (Shield contender, deep playoff run, decent in other competitions) then the increase won't feel as bad. If we get another wasted half season like this year (or worse, the 2023 season where they couldn't buy a home win), I'm just going to cancel my season ticket and never look back.
It's no fun going to an expensive venue with fewer fans and pay ever more for the privilege to do so.

Misanthropic ownership is commonplace this side of the Atlantic

Sounders FO, including Adrian and the other top officers, have lost the plot. In focusing on maximizing their return from the Longacres land deal (standard for MLS nowadays) they've been left behind on the pitch and in the stands, where other teams have a big advantage now. Basically the Sounders are being left behind by MLS 3.0 in the same way they leveraged MLS 2.0. But via his latest non-denials, it seems like Adrian really wants to anchor a Longacres mixed-use development with a SSS. Pity nobody will be able to get to it except by car.

I am going through my Sounders emails. “While Sounders are sending me STH messages,” I haven’t seen a email on 2025 season ticket cost. Where, how do I find info from Sounders.
