After listening to this song when I was thirteen fourteen years old, and now 38, I will finally get to go see them in concert next year in april, and i'm so happy. This song felt like they were talking to me directly. ❤
There are just songs that hit you and hit you hard in the place where you can't explain why it hurts so much. I guess it's nostalgia? The yearning of going back to a time where things were simpler. Growing up and being a responsable adult man... good old times. If you're reading this and young, enjoy every second of your childhood.
You ever been in a band so long that you now Actually enjoy playing a song.because you're so dangerous all. You can do is just enjoy the Marvelousness of it. That's what these guys look like.pure joy
It’s the dumbass bass player rocking a bartolini mid focused bass, get him a P bass and some flatwounds and the song will come together. Active basses sound terrible live unless you’re MONONEON. Also I don’t mean that and the bass player was good he just needs a chiller bass tone
Bass ruins the best part ..the guy literally wanted to do it himself so he stopped because most people enjoyed that part and those people were gonns ruin it by singing.. .. so he was like fine u guys do it cause hes a nice guy.. ok ..now he wanted to do it..and the audience decided to keep doing it ..with that ridiculous loud bass Ruined experience he deserves so much better..
The fact that the crowd sang in harmony and so well, makes me like this band even more.
no offence bud, but thats a dumbass reason to like a band. thats like saying i like eating at subway cuz the hair salon next door always has customers
3:44 was absolutely beautiful! 🔥🎵👍🏻
I don't think you know what harmony means lol. Crowd is singing the same notes. Only people harmonizing are the two voices (backup singers)
I mean... they definitely are not singing a harmony lol still cool though@@drakegravely5261
It’s the only song everyone knows by them. Relax. It’s not a biggie.
The fact that the crowd at 5:20 lowered their voices so that Brendan could be heard much better singing, made me respect them so much. Nice gig !
They highered their voice lowered Nuh uh
They ruined it
@@thedelster9525 yuh
@@thedelster9525 right, the crowd had their moment of glory, now it's time to shut the fuck up.
they definitely ruined it, just shutup and let him sing.
This is an artist! Enjoying himself and making the fans happy. A professional!

we only cherish that, once we loose it... sadly
It's good to see people having a good time
looks so fun to play live. Never stop rocking the bucket hat!
I love that little hint of 'Roundabout' before he starts playing.
That's so good I never noticed
he does this multiple times! in another old video of them playing for a radio station he plays even more of the roundabout intro
It’s like blowing a kiss. So sweet. The best
Could feel the love and passion in that video , got me emotional
Amazing!! So nostalgic
still so good voice after all this years
I keep watching these new performances and I love them more & more. I'm sorry I've missed them all.

He sounds great
That was fkn beautiful
Still here for this song 10/272023
Brendon Brown is winning in life.
Everytime I hear this, I wish bucket hats would come back
HECK YEAH!!
Fr
ONE SONG-BAND. But a good one!
The Base guy xD I'm dying...like the biggest rock star
I was a teenager when this album got released.
When the Bucket Hat got put on I knew shit was about to go nuclear and I was not wrong. lol So good.
such a cool band and sounds exactly the same as 99 I think it was
Nice!!!!!!!
They got the homie from Office Space on the keys
The whole crowd knew the mission
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💯👏🏾💯👏🏾💯👏🏾💯
That ending was crazy
Bass player goin crazy
Peak 90’s. This is the height of bass crucial, pre-emo.
Peak 90's... except the song wasn't released in the 90's.
@@GohanSSJZ eh it was 2000 close enough
@@GohanSSJZ Well, the inspiration for most of the music released in the year 2000 was from the 90's buddy. No need to be a prick lmao.
@@GohanSSJZwasn't released in the 90s but theyd been playing it for atleast a year or two before they were even signed with a record label
When you sneak into the local club and discover that the band playing is all your favourite teachers, and you had no idea...
This song aged like fine wine🍷
What kinda guitar?
Did he just sing that one song and leave? I'm always curious what happens to a band when they have a 1 hit wonder... they have a 4 min concert?
They didn’t sellout to the industry.
bruh
they have a lot of popular songs and good ones so idk what you're yappin abt
@@TravisJ_1005good? Yes popular? No. teenage dirtbag is the only one that is popular
of course not
that would be a waste of everyone’s time and money
Damnit why are we all old now?!?!
im 38
well that was fuckin cool
Coolest music teachers ever
He looks so much like a young Phil Collins.
The fact he can still sing this is amazing… apparently he’s still in puberty.
🍻
Shocked. I Always thought a woman sang this. And don't say, why? It's obvious. Hilarious 😂
I'm just a middle-aged dirtbag baby
Gabrielle is a smoke show…
jesse pinkman :D
Bass is way to loud in the mix
It’s the dumbass bass player rocking a bartolini mid focused bass, get him a P bass and some flatwounds and the song will come together. Active basses sound terrible live unless you’re MONONEON. Also I don’t mean that and the bass player was good he just needs a chiller bass tone
"I'll never do it that well" not "that good"
Shut up nerd

the whitest song to have ever whiteded
Nah,Barbie Girl
Agree - we need more of them
Bro manages to find something negative about everything, even a beautiful song
Ironically the phrase "that ever whited" is super fucking white.
Not even fucking close.
Hotel california, free bird, sweet home alabama,... dude lmao whut
I hate that he stalls it so long
That is …. Very strange
he cant do the voice on queue
it's because he's gotten older it's hard for him to do the voice now, why do u think he needed all the water
