It's not overrated, this is the inspiration to many other palaces constructed later in Europe.
That is how they would feel as it is not being maintained properly now a days. Most of the places are restricted and you go like moving in a temple, where u don't find much space and time to observe and enjoy anything
This palace was built in 1912 - I think this palace got inspired by its European counterparts? I saw a lot of commonalities between Mysore palace and Schloss Sanssouci built in 1747
