Just go and get them, every region has something unique!! Need to be at least6 on the hardness scale for tumbling. other wise they become carving rocks, and that is A way cool hobby/ art form of it's own!!been tumbling and carving rocks since I was A kid!! Long time!!Take it to the next step - carve - tumble - and drill to make pendants. You can work wonders with A dremel, and some inexpensive diamond bits!!!

They aren't as potent but are most definantly there. I work with both tumbled and raw. I get the same results.Tumbled only means they have been polished to be smooth. I often prefer smooth because they are less abrasive and easier to carry in pockets, but I collect some of both. No, tumbled isn't fake, it is just crystal that has been shaped, even though it isn't in its original raw form.

They do not do less. Only cheaper since they are smaller. Size has no effect, it you choose to, you can use large on a group of people.
