In Uganda, animals in various abattoirs are slaughtered by Muslims in accordance with Islamic principles. Also, we have an entire institution dedicated to regulating Halal foods in Uganda. So, to answer your question, yes, most restaurants, especially those open to the general public, serve halal food. However, I would recommend dining at Muslim-owned restaurants. I recently featured the biggest Halal restaurant in one of my recent videos; you may want to check it out..

Beautiful places but would you dig deep into their best local organic foods? Refined wheat (pizza) wouldn't fall into the category of food and above all; not healthy a choice to eat ✌🏿
