I love seeing your Ally collection grow! The one thing I really like about the ankle strap heel is that the ankle strap is removable so you can wear it as the classic heel and then add the strap in if you want to jazz it up for an outfit ❤
thanks jess! ah yes - i like the idea that they're versatile, but i don't think ankle straps suit me because they cut off my legs at my ankles and highlight the fact I'm petite!
ALLY NYC makes comfortable heels-believe the hype! My classic 7.5cm heels are more comfortable than my ballet flats and the infamous heel that has been claimed to last “all d@** day.” The removable ankle strap is clever. With narrow heels and a rather wide forefoot, I tend to walk out of pumps. The strap helps my shoes stay on my feet. That’s my “forever”nude pump (but I may go up a width for my next pair of ALLY NYC shoes).
But why do all the styles have to be pointed toe? I have wide feet with squared off toes and cannot wear pointy shoes because they’re a) uncomfortable but b) they look ridiculous because they bulge where my toes end. If they made round toes or almond toes then I’d be on their website immediately.
i think it boils down to the fact that pointed toe shoes are popular. personally I prefer them to rounded toe shoes when it comes to pumps. they do have 4 different width options for you to consider.
I don't have your problem, but I'm really short and pointed toes look really strange because they just make my foot look like it's really long which looks strange against the rest of me. I like rounded or square toes when wearing pumps. I'd love to try these but not with pointed toes.
Thank you for this review. I am having difficulty deciding between suede or leather. I’m looking to purchase both the lower block heel and the bootie. Which material would you recommend to start with?
I’ve found the difference to be minimal between the two but if I had to choose, I’d go with suede. That said, the leather is still very comfy! It’ll boil down to what you prefer aesthetically :)
Thanks! I used your code and ordered the beige low block heel! I’m excited to try them. Do they ever do sales? Or Black Friday deals? I really want to try the suede now:)
Lovely video! So informative and I just adore your style. How does the comfort of the 3-inch block heel compare to the 2-inch lower block (debating between the two…)? Also do you wear the same size across the different styles? Any tips on sizing and measurement? Thank you!
Thank you so much! The shoes are very comfy, but I do find the lower block heel to be more comfortable, the height is great. I wear the same size across all of the styles and I’ve found their size guide to be pretty accurate!
I bought some after seeing your original video but they didn’t work for me. It’s also a hassle with having to try on shoes and mail them back each time unless you’re lucky and can fit a size perfectly. So sad they didn’t work for me. 😢

I just watch a whole video about high heels even though I don't wear them you bet your booty! Congratulations on the sponsorship! 💚
yay! i hope you found it entertaining despite not being a heels wearer!
Love the style of these shoes and the no slip sole is genius. Why don’t more brands do this
I know right! It should be standard!

Hi Vee, I may have missed it -do the lower block heels run tts?
Yes they do!

Do you spray protect the suede? Beautiful collection! I’m intrigued
Great question! I'd like to know too:)
I've got a suede protector at home (it's one by collonil), but I haven't actually sprayed any of these!

@whatveewore
Do you spray anything on your suede heels to protect them? Thinking of getting my first pair from Ally
i do have a suede protector on hand but I haven't sprayed any of my ally shoes

Are the shoes TTS ?
They are!
So all these shoes were sent to you as part of your partnership/sponsor with the brand? How do they compare to other heels you have?
They’re hands down the comfiest heels in my collection now.
I bought some after seeing your original video but they didn’t work for me. It’s also a hassle with having to try on shoes and mail them back each time unless you’re lucky and can fit a size perfectly. So sad they didn’t work for me. 😢
