This album is the most characteristic, well-composed, and cohesive body of work Intervals has put out. Every song is an absolute joy to listen to ❤️ can’t wait to see these imagined in live concert when it becomes possible again.
Agree completely. No filler on this one. Everything is completely intentional, and nothing is missing. The production is flawless. The composition is creative yet "home" for Aaron - I mean there's a ton of experimentation. I'm partial to this track as well as DOSE, but I say that as if they aren't all very listenable, each with motifs that are equal parts melodic and emotional.
That's why I bought it on Bandcamp so I can have it for my FLAC player, it's so good!

This and D.O.S.E are def my favourite tracks on the record! Those acoustics in the verses and throughout the song sound pristine!
Yup! Those are def the 2 for me. The charisma and emotions in every note are unmatched.
Might be the same for me, as well. A couple others fighting to get into that group, but those two really stand out after repeat listens.
You could make a case for any one song on this album being your favorite. I think this one may be my third favorite, behind String Theory and 5-HTP. However, I have recently developed a true love for Lock & Key. See what I mean? 😂
Aaron literally has the catchiest melodies. 2020 just got revived. Amazing work!!

It's so rare to have huge expectations on something and not get disappointed when it happens. The whole album has been such a joy and a breath of fresh air for 2020.
The Lock & Key absolutely takes the cake for me, but I think this might be my favorite out of the newly released songs.

see, this is the one i first fell in love with off of circadian. but every intervals album is like that for me..i have a select few songs from each album that i initially fall in love with and then when i go back to the ones i tended to skip, i think, wth is wrong with me?? all of these are amazing! lol. i started with the shape of colour, and every album is progressively better than the previous, and thats saying alot.

This song made me swell inside with emotion as I move into a new chapter in my life. In my mind, it made my heart feel like it was plunging into a new world. While sober lol Thanks for blessing this world with this track.

@@metalhead4827 they don’t have a permanent drummer. Almost ever time they tour it’s with someone else. Sometimes multiple drummers on the same tour. But there is one constant. They all kick ass.

I’m not even kidding with this comment here so don’t flame me please lol. In a parallel universe I’d like to think Aaron Marshall became a guitarist for Paramore and this is the direction their music went. I can totally hear Haley’s vocals over this song especially but really on all this album. I was a fan of Paramore’s first couple albums before they sort of tried to go all artsy and political lol. But yeah I wish this could happen and maybe bring in a screamer for the 5% parts that would require a good solid scream.

I love the way those harmonics dance across that main riff. Provokes some super nostalgic emotions. Takes me back to the intrigue, excitement, wonder and fascination of childhood. Serious feels going on there. Makes me feel like I’m trapped in a music box in the best way possible
