@@blujguitar6520 I mean like throwing in very weird rhythms and chords that normally wouldn't go together. Yet they somehow really make them work well. It makes them very unique and interesting as writers.

I feel like Intervals has mastered the art of creating music that is both technically amazing and just really enjoyable to listen and groove to.
You can pretty much tell his priority is to make something progressive and technical but still catchy and accessible.

@Chris Snyder Guitar That’s a great way to put it man, very true. I also really admire the way they sometimes lay down super chunky riffs (like that one really heavy section in the middle of this track) without ever losing those good vibes or feeling too dark. They’ve been one of my favorite metal bands lately because their music is so bright and positive-sounding

@@ChrisSnyderGuitar Nice, dude! Dance Gavin Dance is another great upbeat metal band if you don’t mind vocals. I’m assuming you know Sithu Aye? He literally makes some of the happiest, brightest, most positive-sounding metal ever. Don’t get me wrong, though. I definitely like my heavy stuff. I’ll literally go from this song to something by Humanity’s Last Breath, lmao. But man, I’ve been too down for that super abysmal-sounding stuff lately. I’ve actually been on a huge Primus kick recently, which also helps to lighten the mood. It’s nice to meet someone on here that actually wants to have a conversation. I appreciate your response, man
